Re: Washington CH (4-1) @ Jackson (3-2)
I could see the FAC extending invitations to Teays Valley and Hamilton Township. those 2 schools would take it into consideration and they would possibly join because they all would be playing bigger schools and better schools than what they do now. plus travel would not be that bad. Hamilton towns...

Re: Washington CH (4-1) @ Jackson (3-2)
The FAC is one of the best football conferences in the area . All similar size schools (D3) Would love for Logan to join in football Hillsboro and McClain not voting for that, not a great trip for WCH or MT either I could see the FAC extending invitations to Teays Valley and Hamilton Township. thos...

Re: Fairland (3-2) @ Gallia Academy (4-1)
getting back to the game at hand. Fairland does have nice skill guys QB is solid and has a core of receivers that can flat out catch the ball. This team, no matter what they are down, can not be overlooked. A quick strike is possible with Fairland from the opening whistle. Old memorial, as distastef...

Re: Chesapeake (3-2) @ Ironton (3-2)
I do think Ironton wins this game but the Peake has a nice stable a specialty guys that are dangerous if you overlook them. I think this game will be competitive. I will say Ironton by 2 touchdowns. Line play will determine how this game goes and on that I give Ironton the edge.

Re: Jackson 15 Gallia Academy 9
After watchig the video you can’t get a good view of the fumble. All I know from the live view I had is if he wasn’t across the line It was a fumble film is inconclusive. as I said before got to go with the refs call he had the best view. The video for the pi is different that was the incorrect call...

Re: Jackson (2-0) vs Gallia Academy (2-0)
Technically the pi could have went either way but to make that call on a forth down in that situation jackson was very lucky . That is all I will say on that. the fumble on the goal line was a fumble if he didn’t cross the goal line I had no view of that and the ref was on the line got to go with hi...

Re: WK1 2018 Coal Grove @ River Valley
Coal Grove will have one of the most explosive offenses in the area. If the defense can help hold opponents I see this being another great run for the grove in 2018. Coal Grove rolls and starts week 1 with a win over the raiders. 45-21 CG will win several games but the OL/DL aren't on the same leve...

Great game last night for both teams. If Portsmouth shoots the ball like they did last night they will be hard to beat.

Re: Feb 3rd oak hill @ coal grove
Not sure who made the prediction before this season started about coal grove making a run, but whoever called it was spot on. Lots of potential for this team to do well in the tournament.

Re: Re: Gallia Academy @ Coal Grove
I'll have the game on live tomorrow night if you want to watch. It's a home broadcast, so if you don't like to hear a little bantering about the refs an all that a home broadcast brings, may want to steer clear, otherwise, come hang out, have a good time, and watch some good basketball at facebook....

Re: What are some ways they can make the game SAFER????
One flaw to the three weeks of no rain and the hard ground. Most grass fields are irrigated. That would poke some holes in the hard ground theory. I find it hard to believe that there is a matting system that can simply be laid down on just a plain dirt surface every field turf surface I have seen h...

Re: What are some ways they can make the game SAFER????
Not sure that matters any, on dirt seen where lack of rain makes ground harder and helmet hitting the ground is worse. Seen the field that was a sloppy mess, and sod not set up causing leg injuries. Hardened dirt will give more than a blacktop surface with rubber padding. :?: REALLY so the 3-4 inch...

Gallia’s best “player” was Peck - he was the reason they beat Jackson!
BUT
Coal Grove will struggle mightily with Loveday’s size.
BUT
This game will be a 5 point win or less for Gallia
.... and that’s the TRUTH!

Re: gallia Academy basketball 2017-2018
So you make a mistake an it is out on you ear. I am glad I had coaches that forgave my mistakes. Some are worse than others I grant you that but to dismiss a kid that is a extreme step. Make him sit make him run. He has lots of talent if he does the punishment for the misdeeds you have no reason to ...
