Re: Wk1 8/25 (Sat) Trimble at Nelsonville-York

Nelsontucky at home is hard to beat , they up 21 before you get off the bus! If you are trying to get one in about the refs we have an assigner so nice try. Now if you are talking about their fear of the Orange helmets and the mystique of Boston Sr. Field, I'm with you. Or maybe you're meaning with...

Re: Trimble's Breanna Brammer

Congrats ! She has improved alot since last year! Yes her dad has really coached her up well. They need to hire him as the field coach for next season. He would be a great addition to the staff and could really help the boys and girls in the field events. Add him to the sprint coach Campbell, and t...

I thought we weren’t allowed to have two different usernames?

How is this even possible?

Re: 2018 Trimble Tomcats

KOONDOGGER your so fake. Why do you feel the need to hide behind your screen name and with your negative comments. I am going to say this who cares what tricks Phil has I am sure it has won many games. All it will take is for Rusty to have one losing season and the NY bandwagon will run him out of ...

This is exactly why banning an IP is a bad practice. More than one user can be in the same IP. Too bad we have old geezers who don’t really understand computers policing the site.

Re: Columbus Crew Moving To Austin TX ????

We don't need kickball in the buckeye state. Send them to tex-ass and then get a deal going to play a small college game of the week there any week the bucks are on t b e road. Plus get state championships there. We would love to play on that field.

These buckeyes need to dominate in football, wrassling, and track. Plus we need to get powerlifting going like it once was. Nothing else matters.

0-1 after week 1 again. And then I see them going 8-2 overall. Don't think they have enough for Waterford yet.

The portajohns along the fence is pretty appropriate.

Re: Who will win Region 27 in 2018?

The c a ts will definitely be a playoff team with the talent they have. But, they are still reeling from the coaching staff purge following the trip to the promised land. The staff is still finding their way in terms of game planning and playcalling. Those two factors will stop them from being the t...

Re: Trimble vs Miller

Cats win if their best player scores 25-30 points. If he don’t, it will be a close one. If it’s real close, Howie will out coach them by a mile! Certainly a joke I hope. Howie won't be able to play against the bigs of Miller so the midgets won't have a chance. If it comes down to coaching I'd say i...

Re: 2018 Trimble Tomcats

I hear plans include a full row of porta Johns along the fence between the end zone and the old pickle building. It’s always been a great place to take a leak. Runs right into the creek from there. Kudos to the committee on that decision.

The Wheaties defense makes kids look a lot faster on film than they really are. Hire the right guy and this becomes a way of life in Logan.

Re: Portsmouth Football Coach

A change in culture goes a long way to helping direct a sudden turnaround in a program. Two years ago Nelsonville had a complete dumpster fire raging in its football prgram. Then we hired Rusty and he implemented the Wheaties defense. Now we are a perennial playoff powerhouse. Word on the street is ...

Re: 2018 Trimble Tomcats

They are still missing some of the playcalling magic that they lost following the coaching staff shakeup from 2 years ago but they still have enough talent to overcome that. I am saying at worst 9-1. The question will be if they can stop Bellville. I do see another deep playoff run.

As for the game, I suspect the Cats win this one but it will be close.

Trimble 32
Lucas 28

Re: Kevin Dunigan hired at Federal Hocking

Can Dunagain turn it around or will he, much like his name, be one and done again? I know cousin Luke is great at judging talent in players and coaches, and he thinks this is a good hire but the guy has no experience. I cautioned Luke on this one, but he was hell bent on the guy. Maybe he had too ma...
