How are the South Webster Jeeps looking?
Haven't seen as much talk about the Jeeps as usual on here. But just from glancing at their record, it seems like they are having a pretty solid season. Haven't seen too much coverage in the paper, but who are their starters and will they have a shot at getting out of Districts this year? Either way...

Re: Biggest S.O.C rivalries- (thanks for the idea Cat@mouseball)
claypantherfan: agreed...for a non-conference game, Webster and Clay have had some great games over the years. That's a pretty solid nonconference opponent for Webster, and hope they keep Clay on the schedule for years to come. I'd also put East up there as a solid nonconference game for Webster tha...

Re: Future Oak Hill Sports Complex
Riepo: whether or not the facilities impact the Oaks' performance in their respective sports is irrelevant. The point is that they have decided to commit a large amount of money to benefit their kids (and community tangentally). I think it's awesome and hope one day South Webster will be able to imp...

Re: Future Oak Hill Sports Complex
I think this will end the debate of who has the best facilities in Southeastern Ohio (although I hear Portsmouth's will be nothing to sneeze either)!! I presume this is funded by Oak Hill Banks (now Wesbanco) money. If so, it's great to see an individual put his money into the community, and even be...

Re: Matewan ethics
Any time you agree to cross the river for a game, this should be expected. It's been going on for years and will continue for years. Best advice is to not schedule them in the first place. If it was really as bad as what some are saying on here though, East should make the return game next year a ni...

^^^^^ LOL....the Bobby Bowden approach!^^^^^^^
It goes like this. Player gets in trouble. Bowden says, "son, we gotta teach you a lesson. We're going to let you play this week against Florida, but the next week, you're sitting against Southeast Florida Tech."*

sawdust: I know they're losers, but Mike Brown is trying to win. The problem is that he does not know how to win like his old man did and is hellbent on doing it his way instead of joining the 21st century and hiring a GM and adding to the scouting department. Like I already said though, the Bungles...

Re: Letter to the Fans from Bob Castellini and Walt Jockety
LOL...quit sending letters and apologies to the fans to offer excuses on why you blow. Just do your job and get a winner on the field sometime soon because most fans couldn't give a darn about the Reds once football season rolls around. I've wasted too much time with these losers just because there ...

Not trying to be a smartarse, but if West got beat 12-2, they have alot bigger problems than what formation the coach decides to go with.*

Re: Bengal Tyler Whaley
Let me preface again by saying I'm as big of a Tyler Whaley fan as the next guy. I cheered him on while working his way from walkon to scholarship player at tOSU. I was excited to see him picked up by my favorite NFL team. However, it didn't work out for whatever reasons. Regardless, a kid like Whal...

Re: MR, AND MRS. TIGER BAIT STARTED NUTRASYSTEM DIET TODAY.
Nice...keep up the good work ytb. I've known some other people who've done NutriSystem and it definitely works if you stick to their meals only and add some exercise along with it. Got to make sure you keep food choices and portions reasonable after you go off the program though or the weight just c...

Re: Bengal Tyler Whaley
you're tiger bait: how will we know if it was a mistake if he never plays a down of NFL football? Like I said, no other NFL team has picked him up, so the Bengals' thinking must not be that far off. Whaley is a great kid and I cheered like heck for him at tOSU, but the NFL is a business. The good th...

sawdust: I doubt the Bengals' success for this upcoming season is going to depend on a fullback. At least they gave him a shot...I didn't see anybody else (your Brownies included) pick him up after he was released, so they must not have made that big of a mistake.*

Re: Ugh . . . one of SE Ohio's best gets in trouble
I agree about the PDT article not being necessary. Just run the AP story regarding the incident on page two or three of the Sports section like they would have done if Thoroughman had not been involved. Kids make bad choices during their college years, just not sure that they should be magnified wit...

^^^^^^^ LOL...wow, some constructive criticism there!! ^^^^^^^
All I know is that Northwest football is probably not the best program to gauge one's coaching ability at. Vince Lombardi would have trouble winning out there.*
