Re: Division II Regional
Unioto had the best player on the court, Fairland had the next 5 or 6 best players. Unioto isn't very good in the half-court on offense or defense. They've out ran teams this year, and couldn't do that against Fairland because of their depth. Also, it was absurd how well Fairland shot the ball! Did...

Re: Division II Regional
I think Unioto/Fairland comes down to whether or not the Unioto pressure affects Fairland. Unioto's defense in the half court was pretty bad against Sheridan. Unioto needs to make it a helter skelter type game.

Her hand would be going forward if it was after the tip. Like I said though, it seemed like the right call in the moment.60ft wrote: Mon Feb 27, 2023 11:02 am Her arm is bent back. So the ball is out her hand. Unbelievable play by Smith.

Watching it in real time, all the refs could really do is guess. Personally I thought it was good in real-time, but obviously it wasn't. It wasn't e...

Re: Division II - Southeast District Information
Unioto is very good, but was really a year ahead of schedule, so the OOC wasn’t what It will be next year. All 5 starters can put up big scoring numbers, just depending on the night. Their 6th man has done some scoring, but is mostly a defensive presence for them and is really the only senior who p...

Re: Division II - Southeast District Information
Mark my word Fairland is good but Unioto or Sheridan is better.. can’t wait for this to play out Can’t speak for Unioto, but there is no way Sheridan is better than Fairland. Especially if Warner is still out for Sheridan. Sheridan has 3 scorers in Stinson, Warner, and Saffell. Fairland has about 8...

Re: Division II - Southeast District Information
I know Unioto starts 2 freshman, though one of them may be the best overall player in the district, but what does the experience look like for the other top teams in the district??

Re: Division II - Southeast District Information
Unioto is deep and talented, but I still worry that their schedule hasn't prepared them for this district. I hope i'm wrong though.

Re: SVC 2022-2023 Season
Unioto is on a different level than not just the SVC, but most of SEO. Only question is, how far will they go in the tournament? Fairland and Sheridan are extremely good in D2, Warren, New Lexington and some others are very good as well They definitely have a chance to make a run, but it’s going to...

Unioto is very talented. The question is, are they challenging themselves enough to be ready for a deep tournament run? Schedule is very weak outside of Jackson & Bloom Carroll.

Re: SVC 22-23
The SVC tried this type of scheduling a while back. It didn't really help out the girls attendance. I would like to see Varsity Girls and Boys playing on the same night more often.

Re: SVC 2022-2023 Season
I agree. Adena should be favored since they are the champs and have some outstanding players back. Unioto has the great freshman class, plus a nice group of juniors. I’m going to guess: 1. Adena 2. Unioto 3. Piketon 4. Southeastern 5. Huntington 6. Paint Valley 7. Westfall 8. Zane Trace I really th...

Thinking it comes down to Unioto & Adena. I think Adena might actually be more skilled than they were the last couple years when they relied more on athleticism. I agree. Adena should be favored since they are the champs and have some outstanding players back. Unioto has the great freshman clas...

Pretty sure Ater is at Huntington unless something has changed.danicalifornia wrote: Sun Jul 03, 2022 10:34 am Good rundown.
Does Adena have another new coach? They were playing much better in the last month of the season and return most of their contributors. Kerns, Ater and Smith is a nice trio to build an offense around.

Adena played really well against Meigs, but Stewart was just too much. He's a stud, and was fun to watch. He hit an absolute bomb! Magill pitched well enough to beat a lot of teams. Not sure Meigs has a lot behind Stewart, but they don't need much.

Re: 2022 SVC Thread, scores, standings and schedules... post all year.
We’ll that doesn’t look good for the SVC conference. 6-3 win for Ironton. SVC needs to breakup the conference. When you play weak competition it doesn’t get you any better for tournament time. I think SVC teams was 18-1 vs non conference teams in regular season. Must have been weak teams. Good luck...
