I believe 12-14 of the penalties on Unioto were false start/illegal shift penalties. Those are easy calls. Looks like they've backed off the heavy rain predictions, hopefully that holds true.

Not that either team was going to sling it around, but the weather looks like it's going to make for a sloppy night of football. Interesting to see how well SE handles the ball in their offense if it's wet and slippery.

I think it's too hard for the small division schools to have enough good athletes to really run a spread effectively, especially on a regular basis.

You're probably seeing the beginning of a decline in the Adena volleyball program. They'll have some decent classes come through over the next 3 or 4 years, but the younger girls(7th grade and below) are trending VERY heavily toward softball and basketball. Ohio Generals and OBC(Ohio Baseball Club) are probably the 2 biggest around Chillicothe.

I think it comes down to SE and Unioto in the SVC, with SE having a big coaching advantage and the best hitter in the league.

Travel ball is all about the money for the most part.....If your family doesn't have money your not going to be on team...How many families can afford 1000 to 1500 dollar fee plus tournaments basically every weekend to Cincinatti ,louiville, lex, the smokeys , to the beach.... ends up costing thous...

Travel ball is extremely watered down these days, especially summer travel ball.
