Re: Glenwood Boys 2019 Scheudle/Updates

Only because Fairland agreed to switch dates. Thank goodness the Dragons stepped up and agreed to brave the heat. Any truth to the rumor NB player out due to red card?

Re: SOC1 Race is Close

So New Boston decided they could not play St. Joe tomorrow because of heat? ( Yet they played last night??) Seems fishy to me especially when sectional seedings will be over when they have make-up date.

Re: Green vs Whiteoak

For the life of me I cannot understand why Ohio keeps up with this "seeding" system. Very simple, divide the sectionals/districts into teams that play each other twice a year. Winners get higher seedings. I know how important conferences are to the teams, but in the end conference winners ...

Hey guys, it's one and done. Doesn't much matter who beats whom 9 out of 10, it's who wins tonight. That's why we play the games & why we love our high school basketball.

Re: An overlooked stat, (offensive fouls taken)

How about Matt Brown from Alex???? In the first game against Athens I know he had 4. He probably has about 30-35 total, and most of that is coming off the bench. One tough defensive player!!

Re: OHSAA Tiurney Draw Sunday 4-29

Have never understood why Ohio has such a subjective seeding process. Why not have set districts, everyone plays each other, & seedings are determined by head-to-head competition. It's not rocket science.

Re: Playing Time

Ohio needs to change how they define playing time. Take a sop. stepped up to Varsity because of pre-season injuries. Played better than expected and helped get the team a respectable record. Injuries healed and now he is reduced to a couple of minutes every other quarter. would get much more experie...
