Portsmouth didn't bring the fans like I thought they had in the good old days. I was shocked by the low turn out but the Pointers had a good crowd.

Since it is at SP you can go early and watch the middle school and stay and watch the Lady Pointers varsity game, you might have to pay an extra buck to get into the HS game though! the gyms are only separated by a cafetorium and have the same entrance!

Pointers swept the girls and the Peake swept the boys games. I didn't see the girls games but from the paper they were blowouts on both ends. The boys games were alot closer. 7th was about 15 points and the 8th was about 10 point difference

Looks like this might be the first game in the new gym. Right now that is what is in the works but it might not happen until Friday! I think the Pointers will win this one although we survived a scare from River Valley tonight.
