Re: Logan Elm at Chillicothe 12/27

Fans like scooter are one of the reasons there were a lot of folks in Ross County and surrounding areas rooting against Chillicothe during their run last year. Win with class. BTW...I would not be picking on Logan Elm since they have defeated Chillicothe in the football playoffs and basketball this ...

Re: Logan Elm at Chillicothe 12/27

I would not take a lot out of this game for either team. Both are still trying to find out who they are exactly. LE needs to do a much better job on the boards. To the statement that Chillicothe is very mediocre, I'd disagree with that. Both Chillicothe and Logan Elm are good teams right now. And tr...

Logan Elm at Chillicothe 12/27

Let's get it on. Two good basketball teams going to battle.

Remember 1:30 p.m. varsity start but you better be there earlier if you want a seat.

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio - Week 2

pfloyd, I'll be snapping photos of the ballgame on one of the baselines. Be ready for a fast paced, end to end game, cause that's what Westfall runs. Hopefully LE will be ready to execute in this one. They got a lot of talent, but execution and doing the little things are the keys, always has for a ...

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio - Week 2

Pfloyd, Westfall at Logan Elm Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. varsity - JV at 6 p.m. - freshman at 4:45 p.m. Be interesting to see the purple hippo on the reservation. If the mighty purple-and-white aren't playing on one of these dates, it may be the time to head back up to the great, vast 'Northwest Territory...

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio - Week 1

Talent means nothing unless you reap the benefits of it through hard work and playing the fundamental style that has made LE one of the better programs in the district. Logan Elm has to play with a greater sense of urgency for the entire game.

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio - Week 1

Logan Elm 65 Fairfield Union 62

LE - Congrove 21, Amann 19, Blake 10.
LE - 5-0, 3-0
vs. Westfall Tuesday

LE's still struggling on timing, and frankly, did not execute well on either side of the floor tonight.

Hope you enjoyed the big day of hoops at the Convocation Center....a little preview of 'Basketball 30'.

And I'll be down in the First Capital to watch the Braves and Cavaliers tango.

Re: Portsmouth Daily Times does it again

It's always interesting that folks think they can personally attack coaches, reporters, etc. in public forums and other avenues but would be outrage of the same treatment was given to them. Mistakes do happen. Any good reporter hates mistakes more than the reader does. The way you avoid mistakes rep...

Braves show a lot tonight. Going back to back and posting a convincing win over a good ballclub is very good.

Re: Northwest territory update

LE is still coming together and getting in hoops shape. This weekend will be very interesting as LE plays county rival Teays Valley in a high energy game and then makes the trip to the Convo Saturday night for a game against a good Fairland team. We'll know some more about LE after the next two game...

Re: Holzer Clinic Inv.

I concur on the LE-Fairland game being closer than everyone thinks for a few reasons. 1. LE got off to a couple of week slower start than anyone else due to the long football run in the postseason. Basketball conditioning is still lagging a bit. 2. LE is still feeling themselves out, really, on both...

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio - Preseason

Good rundown of Eric Evans pfloyd. I was very impressed watching the Roundtown boys play, how physical they were and how they hit the boards. Good passing, good fundamentals. They lost every single starter off of last year's team but played a nice ballgame against a good Adena ballclub. The MSL is g...

Logan Elm 68 Harvest Prep 60

LE comes from seven behind to post a win against Harvest Prep. LE was rusty and off on execution some, but were led by Brandon Amann with 36 points, Tim Congrove posting 14 and Logan Hauserman adding 10. The Braves host Hamilton Township Tuesday, Teays Valley Friday and travel to the Convo Saturday ...
