Not all do it.

You are painting with a large brush. NOT all coaches continue to recurit kids when they have been told to stop, I am going to so and so. Some do, yes, but by a far cry they are the minority.

Hitch, I can't answer why Chambers was the only one talked to. But I do think this was a well called game. As for Gary's T, he's had those guys a hundred times over the years and he knows what sets them off. Overall, I thought it was a great game for Chilly heading into the Tournaments. We all know ...

What Coach Tiller is saying is the truth. Basketball has an early signing period, so you can take your name off the market before your season starts. Why can't football have the same thing? Also, shows the unethical behavior of several coaches, who still contact kids when they state they have made a...

KCarth, if you look at the number of Southern Ohio kids who have went DI in the past 20 years in football, Ohio University has taken well over 50% of all of them. Problem is many of them have quit, and several quit while they were actually playing.

Quality game.

Those two refs have as many State Tournament games as anyone in the entire southern part of the State. You always know what you are going to get when they take the floor and that is a balanced physical game. One of those guys is a Big 10 football official who has done BCS games, so I am not going to...

And what did They get?

And what did Chillicothe get for taking 20 years of drubbings? How did they really better themselves for staying in that league so long? What I see when I walk in that Gym is 20 years of blank spots on the walls!

Grey Shirt

Actually a student can NOT take any classes. Your NCAA clock begins to run as soon as you attend your first class (5 calendar years to play 4), Full time student or not. So in order to be a grey shirt, you must sit school out entirely the fall quarter/semester. Now a real funny thing here, is the at...

Boo Jackson

I think in this case it has something to do with athletic ability. Ohio is a spread running team that utilizes the option, and with the right QB will be more option based. I think this is simply a style/system issue. And Walls is not a QB in that type of mold. Hey, and the last scholarship kid from ...

contacts.

Actually there is NO written rule that says a school can not continue to contact a kid after they have committed, as long as the contact is done in the manner prescribed. A kid is not off limits until they sign their LOI. It is a matter of principal, but it happens often.

Lisath was at Unioto in 98-99 to 00-01. Coach Lisath did not coach Dave Huffman.

Number of Teams

All brackets and numbers are dictated by the State. Once the State determines how many and which Regionals each District and Division will have. The District Athletic Boards draw up the brackets. If the State only gives Two Regional Spots, there of course can only be 8 District Qualifers for the two...
