Jackson scored several points in the paint vs. RV......as well as shooting 17-21 at the line........Meigs should expect more of the same.....Jackson hit a few threes....but most seemed to be after dribble penetration......IMO

Coach E was at the JHS/RV game last night and has been apart of the Gallia co. community long enough to know who's who......could be ugly for my Raiders....gonna take a sloppy game from Atown and a perfect game from RV for this one to be close.....IMO

Historical note, RV beat Jackson in 1993 to claim it's first Sectional title......I believe Matt Walburne?, was the Ironmen PG that year.....he was good at golf too.....and the old RV/KC gym was an advantage for the home team......and hot, not Racine hot though......lol

Both teams started the season with wins......Jackson beat a very good SW team....and RV won at the Eagles Nest, although the Eagles were short a few players. Looking forward to seeing my buddy Chris Wallace at this one.

Update for tonight. EHS will not be fielding a JV team, and the Varsity is tipping off @ 6:30pm.

And the RVHS coach is Bryan Drummond.

Don't know much about EHS, but the Raiders will be looking to start their season with a road win.

SV @ RV last night......effort was good.....SV is very physical and won the first quarter 18-12.....RV bounced back the next quarter 39-10....and I think RV finished by taking the last quarter......depth could be an issue for both teams this year.....SV had a couple transfers that were not dressed.....

RV will be showcasing it's 3rd coach in 4yrs......that being said.....I think Coach Drummond will stick.....flying under the radar is the place they should stay as long as possible.....they play AHS early and that will be RV's early-season barometer.....GO RAIDERS!! RV was 1-11 in TVC games last yea...

Loveday is a Varsity player now.......and if I was his coach.....I would instruct him to be "glued" to the floor......at 6'10" why jump and get into foul trouble.....straight up.. close gap.. and be big!!

Any coach can try and teach height...but will fail.....it is unteachable
