The Mighty Men of Troy have, let's face it, not played lock down D this year. Which to me is rather disappointing considering all the athletes the Trojans sport. Portmouth seniors haven't forgotten what this Valley team did to them a couple years ago. Portsmouth will leave no doubt this time. Trojans by 14.

I've been to the previous three meetings in Portsmouth and the last two in Warren.

Portsmouth is going to Columbus. Hopefully, they stay injury free because that's the best team I have seen this year.

To be honest, Chesapeake is the best team RIGHT NOW. But, it doesn't matter who is great now. We will see who is great in a couple months.

People seem to forget that Bendolph played at the Burg last year and he didn't take them anywhere,what makes him so great this year. I seem to recall him single handly beating undefeated and state champion Oak Hill last year, and taking Burg to the convo. Somewhere Portsmouth hasn't been in awhile....

Time will tell. But, I do know for a fact that with Bendolph, Portsmouth is capable of doing great things. People seem to forget that he is the best point guard in this area. I'm not just judging his offense. His defense is insane.

Portsmouth showed they could beat Chesapeake last year. Who says they can't do it again IF they play in the tournament? I mean, I think Portsmouth has improved greatly from last year. Is Ironton getting healthy? I know they were pretty sick against Portsmouth. Whatever is going on, I fully expect Ironton to make a run in the tournament.

Portsmouth big. I honestly don't see them losing another regular season game. This team CAN get to Columbus. It's all about defense and limiting turnovers.

Portsmouth is really good. If the players stay focused and keep up the defensive intensity, they could make a serious run for Columbus.

Dion played a very good game. He came down with 12 rebounds so, he almost had a double double. Wayne Evans was the "go to guy" last night. Kid was hitting everything.
