Re: WK6 Wheelersburg (5-0) @ Oak Hill (2-3)

Glad I'm not the only one who think it's wacky. I'm glad East is doing well, I have many family members who are alumni. They are doing great and should make a run in the playoffs. But Wheelersburg?! They've been doing this for years and this years team is every bit as good as any they've turned out....

Re: D V region 19

I think Minford or Portsmouth get the 6, 7, or 8th spot. Would be a short lived postseason run if either one had to see Burg in round 1, @ ED Miller. Speaking on the Trojans, there are some teams in the region portsmouth could hang with. If they got a favorable seed, they may be able to pull out a w...

You've got to be kidding? Burg would hang 60 on East. Smiliar to what Valley did to East last year. Joke of a game.

Re: WK 6 Portsmouth (4-1) @ Coal Grove (3-1)

The one common opponent (West) could've easily been losses for either Grove or Portsmouth. I know its not always accurate to compare scores but, you must be smoking some wild stuff to think Portsmouth gets beat by 5 touchdowns. It's going to be close and Portsmouth is going to pay those boys back fo...

Re: Is Chesapeake For Real?

Portsmouth will be out for revenge. Panthers came to town and trashed the Trojans. Trojans are a completely different team from last year. I feel they have a great shot at beating Peake. They are capable.

I'll take Gallia in the home digs. Enjoyed watching your QB Friday night. He showed flashes of being really good.

Re: WK 6: Wheelersburg 5-0 @ Oak Hill 2-3

Beefing up the schedule will only make the Pirates more dangerous. If that's even possible. I'm not knocking their schedule though. Kids and coaches can only play the games given. People need to cool off on those talks of scheduling and just enjoy a fun team to watch.

Re: Game of the Week Jackson (3-1) @ Wheelersburg (4-0)

People have to knit pick something. I honestly think this is one of the better teams this area has ever produced. Time will only tell. I truly believe these Pirates will be in Columbus. Young and outstanding playmakers galore. Waverly wont give them a game.

Re: WEEK 6: PORTSMOUTH(4-1) @ COAL GROVE(4-1)

Having seen film of Coal Grove, I really like some match ups Portsmouth can attack against Groves D. The Trojans will be able to move the ball, just can't shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers. The new kicker for PHS looks great, a nice addition to a program who always has kicking issues. This...

Re: Week 6: (5-0) Chesapeake @ (2-3) Ironton

Can't see the Tigers hanging here. Hope it's a great game. Someone mentioned conditioning, Ironton was the worst conditioned team I've seen locally in many years first week at Burg. I don't know how many kids had cramps in pregame warm ups. It was bad. Never seen a team conditioned so poorly, let al...
