Also, they had another starter not even come out this year. The older McBee kid started some as a freshman and didn’t play this year. He’s a 6’1 (ish) athletic kid who would have definitely helped. Hopefully he comes back out next year.

How many seniors on the Trimble side?

I think the best scenario long term is Eastern moves to SOC2, and goes back to D4. That will have them better prepared for tournament time. They will take some bumps and bruised over the next few seasons but they have some talented kids coming.

This game is simply a matter of the Waverly sectional being full of average teams and Jackson being loaded. Peake/burg/eastern/Ironton/oak hill/Meigs (played burg very tough) all would have dominated that sectional

I think this game should be really good, we'll see who's hitting the shots. Eastern Pike seen what Peake done in their first game you can guarantee that no one from EP is looking past this Peake team. Adena recently lost their point guard I heard and Western lost Humphries. That will hurt both teams if true. Eastern played their worst basketball game of the season against oak hill on the opening night.

Like mentioned Burg has clinched but this is a meaningful game. The Webster/Burg kids always want to beat each other. And after hanging around the first go around and now playing Burg tough in the first half all I have to say is D4 teams WATCH OUT for that 4 seed!
