Re: SOC-I, SOC-II, thoughts, predictions
I am definitely inclined to say Minford, it makes so much sense that'd it's crazy not to pick them. HOWEVER, valley I think will surprise because of the athleticism they bring! They probably won't be as disciplined or true "basketball" players like the past two years, but Rolfe alone...wi...

Re: Week 10 Minford @ Valley
Just seen the worst call I ever seen in my life. Valley just got hosed bad. Minford fumbles the ball in their own end zone. Valley jumps on it. One official calls touch town and other official calls it a touchback. Said valley fumbled the ball out of the end zone. So they gave Minford gets a 1st do...

Re: Week 10 Minford @ Valley
How do you recover a your own fumble in your own enzone and get a touchback?? I'm watching it on the web. Did I miss something?

Re: Judgement week
If Ironton and the Burg were to meet in the second or 3rd round of playoffs, where would the game be played? Maybe Portsmouth or Valley would be good Locations. Did Valley put a fence around the field with the new upgrades over the summer? That would be the only way they can host I believe. Does an...

Re: week 4:east@manchester
I don't care if the refs were helping East tackle your players, they are not going to account for a 30 point loss.. Take your lumps and move on.. Making excuses like that just makes your team look bad!

Re: Region 21
What does Ready have returning? I think valley has some talent to win a playoff game, but I think we will struggle to make it out of the second round. We might if we get the right match up but we seriously lack depth. Not trying to knock any of the players, that's just how it is this year. IMO this ...

Re: Lucasville Valley 2014
I think I like the Indian head better, but it looks great! Valley will be fine on offense this year, it's the defensive side that I'm worried about. Loop is a tough runner with a lot of speed. I have no doubt that he will be able to fill in for Arnett on offense. Valley will miss Arnett on defense! ...

I have seen some sites say the Valley vs Portsmouth game is on Thursday and other say it's on Friday the 29th. Didn't know if you would need to change your deadline for that week

Luke Keller should be starting both ways for Morehead St. this year. He was starting both ways last year but broke his ankle in their first game. He finished the season only starting at OLB. This summer he was had 3 ankle surgeries. One on the wrong ankle, one on the wrong part of the correct ankle, ...

I was not at the game but by the looks of the score I would say the Tiger's hitting/ Valley's pitching is what beat them. Who pitched for both teams? And who hit the HR?smurray wrote:2 run HR beats the Tigers

Re: Week 12: #4 Newark Catholic vs #1 Lucasville Valley
As a player I would prefer to play in a jammed pack stadium with 7000 screaming fans than play in a stadium half full and also has 7000 fans. Look at the convo for instance. It's a very nice arena for the fans. But most of the players I have talked to had a greater experience at the packed Jackson g...

Re: Week 8- Wheelersburg (7-0) vs. Minford (6-1)
Well, I've personally seen them beat those teams at the lower levels, so I know they have it in them. If you think going 7-3 and 8-2 and being in the lower 25% of the state of Ohio, finishing in the bottom half of the SOCII, only 1 SOCII championship in 10 years, and win 1 playoff gam in 5 attempts...

Re: Week 8- Wheelersburg (7-0) vs. Minford (6-1)
If you play a tough schedule year in and year out and you have good athletes you are going to get better. However you can't schedule a team like ready for one year and think it's going to make your team better. These kids have to play tough competition from the time they are freshman to their senio...

Re: Jackson Sectional
Not a big fan of coaches who plan it all out and intentionally screw another school and their kids. People can say what they want about looking out for your team, but coaches are supposed to do the right thing. For teams to use their conference to set up the draw the way they want is shady......but...

I thought Burg and Oak Hill was in the Waverly sectional ? Did they used to be ? We (Valley) were in the Waverly when I played in the late 90's/early 2000's. I don't remember when we left (I know it was post 2004), but at that point neither of those teams were at Waverly. I believe Valleys last yea...
