I watched the West - St. Joe game last Saturday and don't remember any own goals on West part. I did see the goal keeper let a dribbler go between his legs that put St. Joe back up.

Do you have the leagure tournament schedule to post?

Based on what I have observed, probably. Coal Grove has beaten both Ironton and Wheelersburg. I'm not sure if Green has played any of the teams listed but they have a good team. I sure there are other good teams out there I'm not familar with.

Coal Grove, Ironton, Wheelersburg and Green are extremely good 6th grade boys teams. They have soundly beat alot of teams this year.

St. Lawrence 4th Grade Boys beat Green in the Championship Game 33-27.

Thanks for correcting me on the U-15 game. Burg U-15 is a great team. Our JH team played them 3 times this year and lost each time. I was suprised when they lost and went to the loser bracket. I think that was their 1st loss this year. Congratulations and a great job Burg U-15 on the tournament win.

Portsmouth West has a loaded girls 6th grade team but Coal Grove is probably the most talented. Other teams are Clay, Minford, South Webster and Wheelersburg.

Congratulations to the Ironton St. Lawrence Flyers boys 2nd/3rd grade boys team for winning the boys 3rd championship over Minford 3rd Grade by a score of 23-22. Both teams played well and it was a very good game to watch. Thanks to West Youth Basketball Association for putting on a good tournament....
