This was a good ol fashioned takin behind the woodshed game. It’s possible they could meet again down the road at a neutral site which could result in a different outcome. Marietta definitely protected their house. Good to see a good rivalry game.

Didn’t he retire from warren ? And kid went to warren ? He was an athletic fitness teacher for years and retired recently. His older 3 sons went to Warren, and the youngest went to Fort Frye when he was coaching there. He was the HC at Warren for a year - 2001 I believe. He hasn't coached at Warren...

Welsh isn’t just a Warren guy. He’s been several places and has been successful as a coach. PHS and Fort Frye to name a few. If you like the wing T, you’ll like Welsh.

This is a 2 horse race this year. Warren and Marietta are the 2. Fort is down some, and Point is a wrestling school.

Gandee and Edgell are both at Warren and are both Belpre guys. Either would be good head coaches.
