Burg set the tone early with the big hit on the Trojan RB causing the lost fumble and it was 21-0 as folks were just getting comfortable in their seats! How many unsportsmanlike penalties does a team have to get before the coach does something about it? I don’t see this game being back on the regula...

Agree with the comment on the Burg kicker. He is the sophomore backup and has done a great job replacing the all state senior who suffered a season ending knee injury

Any guesses? I can see Columbus as a possibility as Barnesville would travel Interstate 70 and Burg up 23 probably about 2 hours for each. I don’t see the OHSAA making Barnesville travel south of 70 but you never know!

I may be in the minority here but I think Harvest Prep is not as good as last year. Their QB broke a couple of long runs against Burg and Burg fumbled twice inside HP 20 as well as ended the game on the HP 1 foot line, coming away empty on those 3 possessions. Barnesville will pass Harvest Prep at the 3 seed if 6-2 River defeats 1-8 Frontier so seems likely

Burg will be the 7 and West 8 based on the Northwest win over Oak Hill. Had the Oaks won West would have been the 7 as Burg did not play OH. Fairland will be 2 which sets up a possible 2nd round game with Burg

Burg will be without their all Ohio kicker due to an injury suffered early in the Waverly game. The sophomore back up has made the extra points since then with one blocked but doesn’t have the range should they need a long field goal
