Re: 2017 Logan Cheiftains
Abe - Logan has Athens and Chilli on the schedule this year. Zanesville comes on next year (in place of Minford). Logan and Jackson are working to get back on each others schedules. Logan's 2018 Schedule (one opening) VS Tri-Valley (D3) AT Teays Valley (D2) AT Meigs (D4) AT Sheridan (D3) VS Chillic...

Re: 2017 Logan Cheiftains
The reason I excluded Marietta and Warren was because of distance (after looking Warren to Logan is about the same as Jackson to Logan; Marietta is 15 minutes longer or about equivalent to playing Big Walnut in the OCC-Capital, same division as Canal), I'm unfamiliar of how well they travel to Loga...

Re: 2017 Logan Cheiftains
This is just my youthful opinion as an outsider from Logan, but if Logan continues scheduling SEO, there's only 3 schools I would consider scheduling: Athens, Chillicothe, and Jackson. They would provide quality rivalry games most years, travel is good, and provides a pretty good gate for everyone I...

Re: WK1 Green @ Western Union
How many SVC schools have football? All of them to my knowledge. I'm gonna assume he meant SHAC. Fayetteville-Perry (SBAAC football only) and Manchester (might be joining SOC I football only in 2018) have sponsored football. North Adams, Peebles, and West Union have club football and isn't school s...

Re: WK1 Green @ Western Union
West Union. They've been a club team for a couple or so years, but they're not school sponsored like North Adams, Peebles, and Eastern Brown in the SHAC. They're located almost in the center of Adams County. Green has played West Union every year West Union has sported a club football team.

Re: SOC I in trouble?
NW has been discussing ending their football program and oak hill and NW are both to soft for SOC II but something has to give when western adds football but everything depends on western notre dame and green Manchester isn't joining the SOC Manchester should stay put with west union seamen eastern...

Re: Soc previews
With Western adding football, Pike County could have their own preview alternating between Piketon and Waverly (kinda like their Pike County Classic in basketball), and have 2 games on a Friday evening. Then Scioto County could have their own preview at Spartan Stadium minus Portsmouth, who does the...

Re: Conference for Logan
Also, an I nteresting idea I thought of for a MSL set-up for the MSL that would move the league to 4 divisions, although it won't happen... Scioto (New Division): Canal Winchester* Hamilton Township Logan* Teays Valley Whitehall-Yearling^ Chillicothe* (probably won't leave FAC)/Zanesville* Buckeye: ...

Re: Conference for Logan
Interesting, though if it's an MVL school, I honestly don't see them leaving the MVL for the MSL.teach1coach2 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2017 12:08 am A D5 school in Muskingum county received an email inquiry from the MSL as to whether they were interested in the small school division.

Re: SOC I in trouble?
Understanding everyone's concerns how about this idea. Join the SOC and OVC together and create a large and small division. Could this help scheduling and competitive balance? Southern Ohio Valley Conference Football SOC I: 1. East 2. Eastern-Pike 3. Green 4. Notre Dame 5. Symmes Valley 6. Western-...

Re: SOC I in trouble?
Add south gallia & the tvc hocking can go back to an even amount of teams. You know the TVC could expand to get even numbers lol I suggest Fort Frye to the Hocking, and then South Gallia, Wahama, Eastern, Southern, and Federal Hocking (all along or close to OH-7) can be in its own division whil...

Re: Conference for Logan
Alright, that's my bad. Also you have Bishop Ready as a football-only member, and then Wellington School is without football.
