Saw some great basketball. At least 15-20 D1 players. Chuck Landon from the Herald-Dispatch had an article in the paper about some of the players.

Saw Fairland at Marshall last weekend, they are better than last year. Alli Marshall is probably the best player in the area.

I saw the schedule for Friday, if you want to see some great high school basketball come on down. Games are being played at Henderson, Gullickson, and the Rec Center 9a with the last tip off at 5p.

TrojanDave I saw some great things out of Chesapeake with some good shooters, but the biggest thing is they actually look like a basketball team. Very athletic and can run the floor very well.

Marshall University is having a boy's basketball shootout on Friday June 29th starting at 10a. Haven't heard the schedule yet, but I'm sure it will involve quite a few local and regional teams as well as some from outside the area.

I've been lucky to see Chesapeake, Fairland, Coal Grove, and South Point so far this summer and I look for Chesapeake to be the most improved team in the OVC if not the southeast, for sure a top 3 team in the OVC.
