Re: 2019 CIT Schedule & Results
Marshall's Jon Elmore was on fire in the first half. He had at least three 3s from at least 10' behind the arc. The championship game is Thursday night at 7p. Green Bay and Marshall are both playing very well and should be a high scoring game.

Taevion is a freak. Had some pretty dunks last night against FIU. Marshall had 7 guys in double figures last night, Hillbilly Ball is playing well right now.

Re: The Rivalry-Rich Football of Southeastern Ohio
Rock Hill/Coal Grove. Especially in the 80’s. Rock Hill and Chesapeake has had a heated rivalry as of late, including one game that was called in the middle of the fourth quarter due to a bench clearing brawl (I wanna say 2013). This game has always been a heated affair. 1974 game was at Rock Hill,...

You can say what you want about decommitments, but this is not a good thing.

Chesapeake will be back to there winning ways. Saw them a couple of times this summer and look like a basketball team for the first time in a while.

Re: Best QB's in SEOPs Coverage Area History
Best QB at Chesapeake was Kevin Rice, it's more than 25 years but no one was smarter or better at QB. Funny story is Kevin was one of the many that was recruit to Georgetown by Phil Wilkes when he coached there. One year there was 22 guys from the tri-state on the team. Kevin had learned a lot about...

State Youth Football Championships is this a good thing for 12U kids?
I know this doesn't go here, but I thought it would be a good place for a conversation about over zealous parents. Fairland's A Football Team (12U) is going to a competition in Sandusky, OH. They play 3 games in two days. With the possibility of playing an additional game if you drop to the losers b...

Most of the schools in WV are in a conference that is class oriented. Example MSAC has a AAA and a AA division and they play 7 or 8 games in the conference.

Re: Sat @5PM Ironton (1-1) @ Fairland (2-0)
I thought it funny after watch the Fairland - Athens game on Armstrong that everyone was talking about how great Fairland and the kid is at QB. He doesn't throw a very good ball. I would rate him as average at best, maybe can play at a D3 school nothing more and PT. I'm sure he's a nice kid, just no...

At The Peake:
Fairland and Coal Grove, for me I'd have to throw in Rock Hill because of how dirty they played back when I was in school, oh wait they are still dirty players.

I look for a two to four game suspension for Meyer and Gene Smith to announce his retirement sooner rather than later. Meyer will be back at OSU next year.
