Re: Portsmouth lady Trojans
Tonight’s the night!!!!!! Sienna Allen showed everybody her late game heroics Saturday with game tying 3. As long as she stays on the floor tonight watch out Fairland!! She stayed on the court and it was a running clock very early in the third quarter. If they played 10 times fairland would beat th...

Re: Trimble
I was just curious must not very many girls that can play basketball in their school I just think there is no interest in some of the girls. Some cheer and are involved in Aleta Volleyball. They have a good group of girls now and the 8th grade class has some real good players coming up. Both Boys a...

Re: 2023 Ironton Tigers
Ironton has a lot of kids wrestling this year. I heard Pendelton told the boys if your not playing basketball then you should wrestle. Biggest concern next year might be inexperience. The JV team was lights out last year and was led by the sophomore now junior class that has 25 kids. I don’t see te...

Re: Gallia vs Fairland
When I posted, I would not have expected any of those “shoes” to fit Isaac. He has been the exception to the things I said. He is a competitor tho and in that moment I am sure it was more about losing the game than anything personal. Not making excuses. I have no idea what his mindset was Tuesday n...

Re: Gallia vs Fairland
Fundamentals and team bball IQ. I’m not surprised by this outcome. The showboating, talking and complaining distract the focus needed to play 100%. Play the game. Every possession is important. Save the side show for social media before/after the game. Not the blue devils of the past for sure. Smar...

And now Fairland doesn’t get to play in their own showdown bc Martin County, KY backed out at the last minute. Nice job Martin County

[quote=MetalheadGamer87 post_id=2047696 time=1672444944 user_id=19050] Looks like River gave Fairland a really good game. Lady Pilots didn't have the size, but a 25-20 halftime score and 13 point margin @ the end tells me some people on this site underestimate...

Re: River 55 Buckeye Local 51
No I didn't watch it, but from all accounts a little D4 school hung with a team that completely rolled everyone (except Rock Hill) they've played until today. River's not too sha by and best of luck to both rest of way. The two close games fairland has had, both double digit wins, is when the three...

You must’ve not have watched the game. You know the old saying scores are deceiving? River was a good...

Fairland will only be D2 this cycle then back to D3 where they belongMetalheadGamer87 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 29, 2022 8:34 pm That well may be, but it's D2 vs. D4. Would think River is more competitive than some of the Fairland scores I've seen.

They should challenge themselves and pick up better teams on the schedule next year. Going to have a good squad next couple years.

Wait a minute, Russell won with a couple of 8th graders? If this true, that’s impressive 3 Elijah Neel 8th 32 Caleb Rimmer 8th Three weeks of practice or not you shouldn't lose to a team thats starting 2 eighth graders Those 8th graders are all travel ball players from the same travel team and all ...

Re: Rock Hill Vs Fairland
I find it hilarious anyone on here questioning Fairlands coaching staff and how they are playing the kids. I’m pretty sure he has the best program in area for a reason. He knows what he’s doing. You better be deep if you play fairland bc they can run 9 girls out there without a drop off.

Re: Rock Hill Vs Fairland
It was a good game. I was really surprised how good Rock Hill was. With that, it’s the worst I’ve seen Fairland play and I try to watch all their games if I can. I’ve never watched so many missed layups and open shots. They still scored 61. They needed a game like that. They reacted well being down....

Re: 2022-23 Fairland Lady Dragons (8-0 | 6-0 OVC)
I agree rankings are crap. Marian will be there in the end. However there is no question Fairland is the best team in the SE district. Probably by 30.. probably don’t want to hear this, but they are definitely in the conversation for the best team in the state, legitimately. They probably will win ...

Re: Rock Hill Vs Fairland
Am I the only one that thinks Rock Hill isn’t getting enough credit? Beat Waterford last week, beat Portsmouth by 23. No losses in the conference? I know everybody is talking about Fairland but other than Portsmouth (who lost their best player in the second quarter or that may have been a lot diffe...
