Weather permitting, Burg scrimmages Jackson at home tomorrow, Thursday 3/22 at 5:30.

Unioto scrimmage (away) has been rescheduled for this Friday, 3/23.

Opening Game vs. D2 Jonathan Alder is at 6:15 PM Saturday 3/24 at Chillicothe VA.

Burg scrimmaged Wellston tonight

Good mix of hitting, and consistent pitching from a few Burg pitchers

Burg Won 19-1

Burg opens up on 3/24 at 6:15PM playing against Jonathan Alder at the VA Paints Invitational in Chillicothe.

Alder was #1 in Division 2 a big part of last year but finished the year #15th in the state.

This is a good opening test for Burg's 2018 season.

Burg too many weapons in this one. This one gets ugly quick.

I heard that a few players played travel baseball a couple months during this summer in Atlanta against SEC and Big 10 commits. If so, that experience should be invaluable during this upcoming High school season. Should be a strong Burg squad.

burg reminds me of the 79 fighting tigers. smaller quick aggressive lineman. solid in every facet of their game. great coaching and special teams. they have good form and fundamentals. flow to the ball well laterally ,very tough up the gut, and have a solid secondary. and offensively they can pound...

I'm looking at the Madison schedule. Not sure I've ever seen a Final 4 team lose to a 1-9 team by 2 touchdowns. Looks like they played four 1-9 teams this year and gave up 13 and 14 points to two others of them. I do see that they played two teams with winning records during the season and lost one ...

These last 2 games will be the hardest games of the year. That's why these teams are still here.
