Re: OTHER THAN IRONTON OR WHEELERSBURG

I think you've got teams out there that have some players here and there that are going to have some really nice years and be some of the top players in the area. As far as overall teams go I don't know that I see too many making deep runs in the playoffs and fewer who will see that 10-0 mark. Just...

Re: Minfords future?

Yeah they'll compete this year, they only had 4 seniors last yea and really only 1 was a big loss on the OL and LB. They really need to take advantage this year though with Pica going into his senior year. I look for Minford to get past West this year, and Waverly might be a toss up but I don't know...

Northwest is Divisiom 5 with a CB of 165 Comparatively Lucasville Valley is D6 with a CB of 131 bordering close to D7 Oak Hill is D6 with a CB of 155 Yeah and they're right there with P. West who has 168 co...

Re: Northwest possibly destroying their own program??

WOW.......saw this one coming. Wouldn't expect anything else...You are honestly hurting the kids more by doing this, and will eventually lose more to transfers due to this. If you do transfer plenty of schools will welcome you in. What is there to gain from all this? besides squandering peoples $$ ...

Re: Northwest possibly destroying their own program??

Advised by college coaches? Or recruiting/exposure services? This is 100%. Kids who play against lower level talent have to step up their recruiting game though. More camps and expos to get noticed. More social media activity. But if they have the talent, the offers will come. The Tomlison guy from...

Re: The future of Chillicothe Football???

What and the heck is going on over at chillicothe High school? Kids transferring out issues with school administration doing shady things and treating students terribly the culture between students and staff is very bad. Tayvion Galloway just announced he is now at Pickerington Central, I have hear...

Re: Northwest possibly destroying their own program??

It does hurt when you lose a couple of studs from Northwest that transfer to Ironton. It’s hard to compete and I understand Well, the latest one was advised by some college coaches that he needed to make a move from Northwest in order to get more exposure and play against better competition. Also t...

Re: Northwest possibly destroying their own program??

This is such BS. Portsmouth football sent two lineman to major college ball in 2009 (FSU and PSU). Sciotoville had an OL that received around 30 offers (including SEC schools) and ended up at WVU. Pendleton himself played for West and ended up having a nice college career at MSU. Holden from Burg w...

Re: Ironton - 3rd Annual Tri-State/All Ohio Showcase 13 May

I’m curious to what other recruiting services was at this camp besides our local one EA365 sports? Those guys don’t get enough credit because they are the pipeline getting the kids looked at the most around here as well as bring the exposure for kids to want to come Ironton. The Pendletons do a goo...

Re: Ironton - 3rd Annual Tri-State/All Ohio Showcase 13 May

I thought it was a great event as usual, hate seeing kids miss out on such a great event. A lot of the scouting services were there watching. I guess parents and coaches didn’t feel their kids needed this, although there were some pretty good players from other schools there, kudos to them for show...

No, not near as many like I said only one I know for sure was Lattimore. Some of the ones last year are also basketball players and who knows they may have had ball games.

Re: Ironton - 3rd Annual Tri-State/All Ohio Showcase 13 May

I haven't heard if any Burg kids attended or not... there are usually a few that go... I don't know how many Burg kids went down only one I know for sure that did go was the Lattimore transfer from Portsmouth. I don't believe they had as many kids down there this year than last. Looked like there w...

Re: Northwest possibly destroying their own program??

Kudos to Oak Hill for sticking it out in the SOC2 despite facing adversity. Hope Northwest can do the same. Otherwise.... what a shame. We'll see how much longer OH is sticking it out they're trying to get out as well and even heard rumors they were trying to sign a non-conference team and trying t...
