Re: Week 9 Ironton vs Gallia
Listen, there is no doubt who should win the game. Better coaching, better facilities, better lifting program, 4x as many players, yes Ironton should win, buts stranger things have happened. The Gallia Academy sophomores are 4-1 against the current Ironton sophomores. Gallipolis has 22 players and ...

Anyone see a sudden surge of “Covid positive testing” coming into Gallipolis?

Re: Week 8 Jackson @ Washington
My bad . I thought you were a Jackson supporter since you post about Jackson games. So someone isn’t a Jackson supporter if they admit freely that, other than Jackson, the FAC is extremely weak? If you can’t see that, your delusional. Jackson played some tough non conference games, but yes, the con...

 I hope you’re right and I know of agree. They offense is starting to find some rhythm. Defense has been pretty good all year minus WB. Starting to find rhythm? I’d hope so playing McClain, Washington, Chillicothe…..Hell, I’d have rhythm against this clown conference. I love it! My bad . I tho...

Re: Week 8 Jackson @ Washington
Rumor here in Chillicothe is that Winters is getting QB looks from WVU. The few times I’ve watched he has a big time arm. Another Ironmen playing at WVU would be huge. Attending camps at any school (OSU, Alabama, Ohio U, W Va, or any school) is open to anyone who wants to pay a camp fee. Not the sa...

Re: WK7 Gallia Academy - Coal Grove
Gallipolis’ problems are the same problems they have been for years. Attitude at the core. Hard to accept that it is 1980-2000 anymore. School numbers probably close to half what they used to be. Far less than half the numbers coming out to play football. Bouncing from coach to coach, seeking an ide...

Re: Week 6: Gallia Academy (2-1) @ Fairland (3-1)
Discipline issues being blamed on Covid? look a lot of things happen in a football program in a year. There were positive covid issues the program was shut down for 10 days like any other program with similar results. That is clearly why games were cancelled. If there are athletes sitting when they...

Re: Week 6…Jackson (3-2) @ Hillsboro (3-2)
Agree. Also a lot of the time, especially in a blow out win such as this, penalties ( 4 holding calls ) are still way too many. I realize that " holding " can be called on just about every play if they want, still it seems to be a pattern so far this year with the Ironmen. I just hope tha...

Re: Week 6…Jackson (3-2) @ Hillsboro (3-2)
need to go there. Take care of business. Let the rest of the FAC know what’s headed their way. Been Battle tested. These 2nd games of 5 build off that. Don’t have near enough football to go around. Coach Hall has a good problem. #15 hats off to ya kid. You re warrior Yes he is. He’s a great guy and...

Re: Week 6: Gallia Academy (2-1) @ Fairland (3-1)
If a player really wants to play the participation fee is not an issue. It is more than the fee to play. There are shoes and other gear, gas to and from practices and games, food, not just for the kid playing, but parents who go to the game or to send money for the kid to eat if he rides the bus ho...

Re: Week 6…Jackson (3-2) @ Hillsboro (3-2)
I would hope that’s not true. I doubt it but with covid they may have just said it’s not work the risk of losing games this late in the season. But not practicing would really hurt us. They better whip out the zoom call and get reps in on there or something That’s not true….the boys are working har...

Re: Week 6…Jackson (3-2) @ Hillsboro (3-2)
Heard we are now only practicing 1 day a week for the rest of our schedule until playoffs. Any truth to that? Lord I hope not , most undisciplined team I’ve seen at Jackson. This team can’t afford not to work. Lol. With all our “superstars” we don’t need it. Wish someone would tell us who the super...
