Re: Week 2… Jackson @ Ironton
What’s up with Jackson QB? He is a great player. Size and speed Which one? The one that plays QB and can sling it and then play running back and a great linebacker?….or the QB that can sling it, play running back and a great linebacker? Both can also run well from QB position and both have excellen...

Re: Logan @ Jackson 8-19-21
Looking down Logan’s schedule, I don’t see a game they can win. 0-10 is very possible . Sad with all those kids and that million dollar facility.

Re: Logan @ Jackson 8-19-21
Not even close. Poland would wipe the field with Jackson. Watched the opener with D-III Canfield, who will make the playoffs. D-IV Poland was down 17-12 in the 4th qtr and driving to the red zone for the go ahead TD. Penalty then a turnover. Canfield drove the field for another TD. Game over.. Canf...

Re: Logan @ Jackson 8-19-21
One more comment on this thread and I’ll move on - Jackson is nothing special and is going to lose some games this year. But it’s SEO football, so there’s that. Logan, on the other hand, is a travesty. All year long I heard they would have size and they do. But what do they do with it ? The Wing T ...

Re: Ironton v Burg 2020
What is that Burg has been doing for years?? Burg has NEVER, EVER brought in 5-6 kids for a season. Ironton has done it the last three years. Has Burg had a player come in? Sure!! Was that kid a dominating stud that could take over a game at any time? I don’t think so!! IMO Burg bringing in Gregg l...

Re: Week 2… Jackson @ Ironton
Jackson getting zero chance sounds like. Ironmen need to go prepared for the most physical game of their lives because I’m afraid it will be . Win or lose this game will do nothing but help Jackson prepare for the rest of the season and the playoffs. Hope it’s an injury free game.

Re: Ironton v Burg 2020
All I read this past offseason was the Lattimore's, the great sophomore class, the small but fast offensive line, and the flying to the ball defense. A team that will surprise alot of people. What I saw was a physically weak football team. Period. For all the penalties and mistakes the Tiger...

Re: Ironton v Burg 2020
So in sumation Ironton is not only beating Burg on the field but they are a more atrractive destination for any potential incomimg talent and they are also doing a better job of developing the talent they do get? That sounds like Burgs program is simply getting passed by Irontons program. Nah, most...

Re: Ironton v Burg 2020
40-6 beatings like this will attract even more talent to I Town That’s what it takes for them to compete these days. In the big picture it really doesn’t matter because no one is touching Kirtland again. That’s JMO!!! Wheelersburg softball is loaded with recruits and they can’t win it all

Re: Ironton v Burg 2020
What grade did he come to Burg? I know he was a Freshman in the Burg’s first state title game in 2012. He pitched for Burg in the state championship game , and he was from Minford. I know that but what year did he come to Burg and why did he leave Minford? Has anyone ever asked him why he left Minf...

Re: Ironton v Burg 2020
In today’s day and age kids/families go where they think will get little Johnny the best recognition. Loyalty isn’t really a thing anymore. It can’t be ok for Lowery to come to Burg for “a better opportunity” and win a state title if it’s not OK for a player to transfer to Ironton to be state runne...

Re: Ironton v Burg 2020
Really!!! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. At least Burg didn’t need to bring in a recruit to win a state title. The name Waginger ring a bell there skippy!!! :o :o What about Martin ? The pitcher from Minford. What grade did he come to Burg? I know he was a Freshman in the Burg’s first...

Re: Week 2… Jackson @ Ironton
Won’t be a lot of trash talk by either fan base. A lot of mutual respect and not as much animosity. For Jackson to have any chance of competing they must really hold their ground on the offensive and defensive lines. Ironton is a machine right now. But for our area a marquee matchup so I expect a pa...

Re: Logan @ Jackson 8-19-21
Btw, I’m trying to get film on the shootout from last night between Columbus Hartley and Youngstown Ursuline. The Irish beat the Hawks 62-58. Guys are saying it was a game for the ages. Both are loaded with college athletes. Jackson ? 😂😂😂😂😂 Cmon........ They’re both good programs, like to see any o...

This whole site is being ruined by a few. Moderators need to seriously think about shutting it down. At this point it’s beyond a joke.
