Re: Washington Court House Football
A coach/teacher combo gives the HC a chance to recruit the hallways and build relationships inside the school. It also gives the coach the opportunity to stay on top of grades. I heard one of the sons of Williamson was groomed to take over program after his departure, what happened to that??? I do ...

Re: Washington Court House Football
So the AD Greg Phipps told the local paper that they want the new coach to be a teacher so that they are on campus during the day. I couldnt think of anything dumber. Just because you could be on campus everyday does not mean that you will make a good coach. They need to go out and find someone tha...

Re: Washington Court House Football
If the job opens up, WCH would best benefit with someone from the outside. But if they did go with someone that's familiar with the program, why wouldn't they pursue Mark Bihl? D1 starter for Michigan during his playing days. A ton of football knowledge, I've always wondered why that has yet to hap...

Re: Washington Court House Football
If all you're going off of is his record, that is only a piece of the puzzle. Wade Bartholomew, great coach with multiple play off wins coached at Huntington guess what, he went 0-10. Scott Keller another great coach won multiple games and has multiple play off wins is 14-36 at Huntington after 5 y...

Preliminary seeding based on the current MartinRPI rankings. Below are the D-II tournament matchups . FYI - Ignore most of the dates. They haven't been updated yet. Appreciate the cool bracket-but doesn't bode well when the #1 predicted seed gets blown out by 36 last night-I didnt know they even ha...

Re: Washington Court House Football
Just find it interesting head coach is supposedly still there but someone is pushing for someone who didn't have much success before as a head coach for a job that is not open? Now-not to many do well record wise at Huntington. So, what makes him qualified?

Re: Round 3- #3. Bishop Watterson (11-1) Vs # 2. Jackson (10-2)
Not sure when you look at the grand scheme of things, Jackson is, in fact, in a league with schools their own size. So I think its hard to really narrow down the options for a more competitive conference. Which is why the thought of going independent intrigues me. In a perfect world. Going Independ...

Re: Round 3- #3. Bishop Watterson (11-1) Vs # 2. Jackson (10-2)
Honest question here. Does the FAC help or hurt the Ironmen? We talk up the conference each year but realistically, 1 maybe 2 teams get close to Jackson during conference play. Would Jackson benefit from being independent? I know that only opens the door for some tough sledding scheduling wise. I t...
