Better win more than 4 games with 2 All-State players on your roster. Warren has only had like 6-7 players make the list in the last 20 years. 2 in one year would be remarkable.

Terry from Ironton is a lock. Pepper from Warren. Miller from Fort Frye. It’s not real easy to make All-Ohio playing in SE Ohio. Just being honorable mention would be an honor.

Fort Frye is a running school. Throwing would be a dangerous weapon with their talent.

I would hope with each state taking 16 teams. Not really an accomplishment to “make the playoffs” unless you’re winning 8-10 games a year. Winning 5 just to get in, gets you a one and done ticket and a T-shirt.

I agree Williamstown played such a bad schedule this year. It was so bad and they still beat Marietta who beat Warren who beat Point Pleasant who beat Fort Frye… that’s weird? Fort beat Marietta. I do agree Williamstown should give it a look. It would get them much more prepared for a AA playoff run than the current LKC. A week in, week out schedule with several Ohio teams on it is way more difficult than a schedule full of Single A teams. I just don’t think they’ll go for it. Great program...

Rather have Cambridge than Point. That being said Point joined this league to get guaranteed games. Not many AA schools around them mostly all of the games they play they have to travel.
