Burg has nobody in the 2023 class with D1 potential. Mathews and Horsely were studs the past couple of years and nobody in their Sophomore class is in the same galaxy as those 2. There certainly is no Tanner Holden in that class.

Sloan won’t be the QB. I believe it will be Carpenter with Sloan at #2. I’ve heard Sloan should see plenty of time at WR too. Young man is supposedly pretty fast with really good hands.

Carter started 4 games at safety last year and saw significant time in others until he was nagged with a groin injury.
