Re: 1/24 Clay @ East
I am also taking the Panthers in this game. I say they win 52-44. I am excited to see Akia Brown vs Cameron King face off in another game. These two always have a great matchup and this should help determine who POTY is.

Re: Eastern Pike vs. Porstmouth Clay 1-20
Hinze made a difference, but not as much as the score would say. It was more of Clay's offense was explosive the first half. King got several threes and a lot of assists, Gilliland got a lot of rebounds and hit several threes, Riffe was also able to hit some threes while Hinze more played inside ton...

Re: Eastern Pike vs. Porstmouth Clay 1-20
Fundamentals will win a game like this. I have clay winning 54-50 with some late game free throws. We will see who wants this game more tomorrow night because that will determine the winner.

Re: Eastern Pike vs. Porstmouth Clay 1-20
I agree with you 100 percent, this time it should be a closer game. Eastern plays good defense and Clay has good offense; so we will see which prevails. If the eagles win this game then they have a nice lead in league play, but if Clay wins then we have a nice race for the SOC title. Gonna be an exc...

Re: Western @ East: Friday 12/9/16
Well if you've seen east play then you would know that they in fact are purposely rough to their opponents. That is what I mean by they will try and commit fouls (a little sarcasm. laugh a little). Anyway Manchester is highly improved as I went and watched that game and they aren't too bad. Competed...

Re: Eastern vs symmes valley
Eastern looks ready to come after the SOC Championship. Very well coached and a highly skilled team. Eastern should be able to handle anything Symmes throws at them pretty easily.

Re: Sciotoville East @ Clay
i am pretty sure Hinze is still hurt. I just don't think East will be able to play on Clay's big open court very well just like they haven't in years past. Gilliland and King will be ready to fire tonight. I say Clay wins 66-53.

Re: Western @ East: Friday 12/9/16
Now East has to play Clay @ Clay this Friday. I'm sure the players from East will get rough and try to commit as many fouls as possible in this game. I could see East going 0-2 to start out in SOC standings after this game on Friday. Gilliland just had a 30 point game last week in one of their firs...

Re: Glenwood New Boston @ Western 12/16
I don't see the improved New Boston team being able to stop the Western team. This Western team is too skilled and coached very well to lose to this New Boston team.

Re: Peebles vs Clay Sectional Championship
Well I definitely don't think that Clay is against the odds in this one. It should be an even game as both teams are good and either can win. I myself have to choose Clay in this one by 7 points. If King goes for 30 as I also think he will then Clay wins the game.

Re: P.O.Y. CANDIDATES IN EACH CONFERENCE THROUGH MID-SEASON
The 2 or 3 games i saw Turner play didn't impress me as much as the other kids have. Turner is a great player, but I would choose any of the kids i named before him. I really believe that King from clay is something special. He really knows how to play ball.

Re: P.O.Y. CANDIDATES IN EACH CONFERENCE THROUGH MID-SEASON
Brown from East, King from Clay, and Leist or Martin from Eastern could all be POY in my opinion. I think Turner is a great player, I just don't think he is POY in my opinion.

Who are the front runners in the S.O.C. 1 for POY?

Re: East Tartans
They may lose at the convo..maybe before but it won't be because of a basketball court. It will be because they got out played....you're talking maybe 5 feet of difference between east court and other courts. You couldn't have played ball or played that much anyways if you believe what you're sayin...
