Re: Kirtland Win Streak Continues In The Snow...55 Consecutive Wins
Just about as bad hearing Jackson posters year after year, talking about all their "skill" players and speed.

Re: Anticipated Coaching Vacancies for 2022
Pendelton from Ironton. Does he move on after the season to the college ranks. I think this job would get a lot of interest now when and if it’s time to move on. That’s hilarious. Where at? College running the wishbone offense now? Gallia hasn't stopped that wishbone, have they? If you had a coach ...

Re: Playoffs: Gallia Academy @ Heath
I agree with 83 assessment of the matchups, Heath being a better draw than most of the other top teams. Not saying tonight will be the night they get upset but stranger things have happened. As far as the game interest.... I haven’t seen a drop in effort from the team so I think the off time hurt t...

Re: Do programs want to get better?
-Seems like the majority of the teams in SE Ohio are content with 8-2 or 9-1 and winning a game or two in the playoffs. Now there are the exceptions: Ironton, Wheelersburg, Fairland, Jackson and Waverly. All of these teams, I feel like have a coaching staff in place that want to take the next step w...

Re: Week 9 Ironton vs Gallia
Listen, there is no doubt who should win the game. Better coaching, better facilities, better lifting program, 4x as many players, yes Ironton should win, buts stranger things have happened. The Gallia Academy sophomores are 4-1 against the current Ironton sophomores. Gallipolis has 22 players and ...

Re: Week 9 Ironton vs Gallia
Anyone see a sudden surge of “Covid positive testing” coming into Gallipolis? We are not going to cancel. We can’t wait to see that pretty bus you all have. enjoy the bus because you won't enjoy the game. Listen, there is no doubt who should win the game. Better coaching, better facilities, b...

Re: Week 6: Gallia Academy (2-1) @ Fairland (3-1)
My son almost didn’t play junior high soccer. He had played youth soccer all his life basically and he became a 7th grader will Gallia started junior high soccer he was excited. About the time school started he said he wanted to quit. Made no sense to me and I would not allow my kids to quit any sp...

Re: Week 6: Gallia Academy (2-1) @ Fairland (3-1)
 If a player really wants to play the participation fee is not an issue. When I had 3 kids involved in sports i was paying over a $1000 a year in athletic fees. Thank god when I talked to a coach I found out if I needed help there were people who would take care of it. Thank goodness I am in a...

Re: Week 6: Gallia Academy (2-1) @ Fairland (3-1)
Its evident that numbers are dropping, but what, if anything is being done about it? 1. Why are we not talking to the kids that used to play? Not in a group one on one. 2. Why are we not being innovative when it comes to our marketing like other schools? 3. Why do we not have a teacher/counselor th...

Re: Week 6: Gallia Academy (2-1) @ Fairland (3-1)
Your right, I’m all wrong SVAC83. I apologize. Not sure what I have been thinking. I guess I have just let all the talk I hear from other parents/texts and people watching the games get to me. I will keep my opinions to myself and look for the silver lining in our football program.

Re: Week 6: Gallia Academy (2-1) @ Fairland (3-1)
My gut tells me there is a 50/50 chance for this game to be played. The numbers are really low this year at Gallia, I have no idea how many healthy players we have available. Also have no idea on our injury or covid status. Would like to know what criteria the health department used when cancelling...
