Re: Warren Football 2024

Warren is definitely very solid at the skill positions. Sealy is a fine HS QB, especially for what they do, and is tough and athletic. I think another year as the starter will eliminate some of the mistakes and turnovers. The stable of RB's seems full (with lots of debate, apparently, about who sho...

Re: Warren Football 2024

To me that's who Warren was when they joined the SEOAL in mid-80s and were super competitive. Even in the mid-90s with Shawn Taylor - that wasn't a finesse team. They got after you and with Taylor they could punish you if you tried to overload and sellout defensively. That's exactly the team I saw ...

Re: Marietta Tigers 2024

What skill players outside the qb does Marietta return? Seems like that’s where the heaviest graduation losses are.

Re: Warren Football 2024

I was super impressed with Warren last year. Think they're going to be tough next fall. VERY physical. Run down hill at you and make you match their physicality. I believe the philosophy is “we’re going to put other teams in a phone booth for 4 quarters and see who’s tougher.” To me that's who Warr...

Re: Warren Football 2024

Why would I worry? I’d run Strahler more too. Another senior next season. Imagine if the coach would just listen to you. Probably win more than 4 games a year. Imagine if he listened to you where we’d be: If I recall correctly, you made the prediction “Sealey will be moved to running back and Carr ...

Nobody has said anything about Fairbanks but you !! You obviously worrying about Carr running ball or starting which has me wondering what is ur problem with #2 🤔 Why would I worry? Re: Warren Football 2024

Love these threads, good discussion getting ready for the season and figuring out the lay of the land. This is what the site is supposed to be about...not trolling and 10,000 interview posts with players from places I've never heard of. We’ve had our disagreements on here in the past, but I respect...

Re: Warren Football 2024

4-1 at home. Not playing Fairfield Union will help and we all know Fort Frye is still better. 2-3 on the road. Peyton’s teams have struggled to win close games on the road for some reason. Athens won’t be a push over. Final record of 6-4. Should make the playoffs with 16 teams qualifying. I would a...

Re: Warren Football 2024

There LBs on Defense will be solid Strahler, Thompson, and Reader ! Legleitner is moving to LB. Finally playing his natural position. Summers is back too. 5 good ones. Didn’t know he was moving back that’s good ! I also forgot about Summers. It’ll be the best position group on defense. All 190+ and ...

Re: Warren Football 2024

Since there are a couple other 2024 threads started already, here we go. Minimal graduation losses at the skill positions, lots of returning production with a 1st team All-District QB and WR, a a talented freshman class, and a junior/senior heavy roster going into year 3 of the same system. Dropped...

Re: Warren Football 2024

I think they can fill two of the open OL positions with kids already in-house, and one will be filled by a kid who hasn't played in a few years, but has good reviews from when he did. Great size too, around 6'3"-6"4" 270. That would put 3/5 OL above 6'3" 270. Owen Bookman is back...

Re: Gallia Academy 2024

There are people at Warren who would help him pack. I’m not trying to start an argument about this since your opinion is clear (which is fine), but this rumor isn’t true. Again. Just spoke to him about it. Would be a good time for Gandee to step in. He should’ve got it two years ago. Since nothing ...
