Re: Final: Ironton 10 Russell (KY) 0

Yea 'tuck, I was at that DC game years back, the only other time I think I've seen that many flags ...I was standing in front of the United Nations building in NYC! [ Speaking of “flags” , did Wheelersburg play “flag” football last night? No, we got our butts whipped and played hard until the game ...

Re: Final: Bishop Hartley 44 Wheelersburg 6

How is that arrogance??? It's a fact!!! PORTSMOUTH DROPPED BURG!!!!!!!!! They were tired of the butt kickings so they dropped them. Ironton was close to doing the same until this group of Tigers came along. Burg will right the ship with Ironton in the next year or so. Now that's arrogance for you !...

Re: Final: Ironton 10 Russell (KY) 0

Yes, it was officially called a TD. Whether or not it was a legitimate TD is debatable. Some teams, especially teams from the Washington DC area, have opinions on Ironton's officiating. It isn't like Ironton hasn't claimed that they have been the victim of bad officiating in the past. I guess the o...

Re: Final: Ironton 10 Russell (KY) 0

I watched the video in slow motion and I can see what you mean. It doesn’t look as if there was full possession and looks as if he dropped the ball. I can see where this is debatable. Easily passed the goal line . Not to burst a bubble but I don’t think it easily passed the goal line. Ball is on th...

Re: Final: Ironton 10 Russell (KY) 0

crossed the line with possession dead ball touchdown this aint the nfl Looks like the ball is at his feet as he crosses the goal line and then he kicks the ball forward. Regardless, he was nowhere near halfway into the endzone when the ball comes out, and it was not a certain and clear TD like some...

Re: Final: Bishop Hartley 44 Wheelersburg 6

Burg hasn't played Portsmouth in years. After the drubbing the Pirates put on the Trojans in the first game ever played at the new stadium, 63-0 if I remember correctly, the Trojans dropped the Burg and refused to renew the contract. Wow , more arrogance . Even after 3 blow out losses in a row you ...

Re: Final: Ironton 10 Russell (KY) 0

Tough win. Came down to a couple plays and was anyones game almost wire to wire. Made my eyes get even bigger when I think about Irontons 1st journey away from home in 2 weeks vs Ashland. IMHO these two Kentucky teams may very well be the two most legitimate team on Irontons schedule. No disrespect...

Re: Bishop Hartley @ Wheelersburg

I see this year for Wheelersburg being similar to 2010. Start off 0-2 to two tough teams, run the table to SOC, out in the 2nd round, finish 9-3ish, maybe even 10-3 More Wheelersburg arrogance. As if the rest of the schedule is a “gimme”. You quit verse Ironton , but yet you’ll run the table . I wo...

Or have injuries to two key players.

Last two Wheelersburg games have been blow out losses . No way they get blown out 3 games in a row ...

Lol. Hartley is not a punishing team. They’re a skilled athletic team. They win with speed and athleticism
Maybe he means the pain of the Pirate fans being 0-2

Re: Athens (0-1) vs Jackson (1-0)

Athens wins this . Jackson defense is really good but offense , wow . I haven’t seen Athens at all and only watched Jackson in a scrimmage. My Waverly buddy said Athens has a talented offense. Game at Athens I’ll guess Athens offense way better than Wellston’s. My guess is Athens 29 to Jackson 14 I...
