100% agree jtek. That's the norm in this town. Burg kids have always been known for believing in themselves on the field/court and the classroom. It's what's expected and they keep tradition alive here.

That's a great point Packer80. I believe that is called better coaching and preparation. There isn't a staff in the area that touches the Burg's coaching staff in just about any sport. That's why the Burg is pretty much always at the top.

The kid didn't go because the. Coach threatened to turn people in to the ohsaa. The kid from Ashland which was the QB that came to burg because at the time there was a good chance Kentucky wasn't having a football season because of covid and he was a senior so he wanted to get to play his last year....

Nope, Carrico is it. You bring these big time kids in and they get d1 offers and you pound your chest when actually they would gotten it from wherever they came from. But Ironton people will claim them as 1 of their own because they have been there for 2 years. It's pretty pathetic actually. Lol
