Neither one of these teams or Ironton will give prep a game

True, I'm just saying that if prep don't beat either one of them very convincingly or just straight lose to them then that's what this region is all about.

Well I will say one thing, if Ironton or the burg wants to have a chance to beat prep they better step up their game big time because if either one of them do then they have the weakest region in d5.

Yes, burg D is better than Ironton. Jackson is a very good and bigger football school that should win this game. Burg shot themselves in the foot with turnovers. 1 big one early in the second half really turned this game around but they will be just fine come playoff time. Good game Jackson

I will say I am curious what kind of game coal grove gives Ironton.

Well it's obvious,once the winters kid is gone Jackson will struggle.

I think their freshman came to wheelersburg a couple of years ago and burg fell short on a comeback losing by 1 score. They had like 40 freshman on their team.

I know these teams will improve every team does but man neither team is not very good at all. What a boring game. These two may have a long season.

Obvious, if you can't win with your own then you bring in a bunch of out of towners. But that still don't get you the prize. So with all that talent and no Hardwear to show for it then it's "obvious" of what the weak link is. I'm just waiting on the home grown Ironton kids that have worked...

Wheelersburg db josh Clark was voted south defensive mvp today in the north/south game with 2 int's. Congrats to him on a great close out for his high school career.
