No way are the Dogs canceling JV games because they are scared to play better teams. I'm sure there is something more to it than that. I'm also sure that we probably won't know why because we aren't in a "need to know" position. To call them the "Cut and run kings" is ridiculous.

I believe they beat Marietta 3-1 and lost 13-9 in regular season and lost to Jackson 2-0. Hard to get a read on non conference games because most teams won't throw their ace. I do believe Sano pitched against Jackson though.

Well did VC, Alex, or Wellston lose any key pieces from last years team? Nelsonville-York basically returns everyone which is why they're probably being picked above those other teams..

SOC II is a well respected league simply bc they have the Burg. That's is a deep league. TVC continues to produce great teams in both divisions, but still gets no respect in tournament draws.

Seems like it should be a "pitches thrown" limit rather than an "innings pitched" limit. Would be very hard to regulate.. Umpires would have to do it, but it kinda sucks that technically you could throw 21 pitches in 7 innings and only have 3 innings for the next two days.. Obvio...

Actually it is rigged...... I say throw all the teams in a hat and draw and you wouldn't be any worse off....lol Until they can come up with a computer type seeding based on strength of schedule and some type of power ranking like football this will continue..... Right. What's the point of playing ...

Heard it went to the top of 3 and ended up washing out. Assume they'll try it again tomorrow?

Especially if they threw two pitchers to split a game. That actually is a great way to get work in before the tournaments.

Wellston has one very good pitcher. Wins over Alexander, Meigs, and Athens this year. Pretty impressive resumè. Should be a good game.
