7th grade won 20-13 and all 13 girls played. 8th grade lost 20-17 in OT to a team that trounced them last year. Athens had 2 5'10-5'11 girls who are very good and athletic....coach and players made adjustment and missed a ft with 1 second left that could have won it for Jackson. The girls are fortun...

Whiteoak was just edged in last year's district finals....they return 4 starters and have a transfer.

4 senior girls leading the way....they'll be tough to beat.

Oak Hill by 20+

Borden is a special player. 10 points in the first minute of the game...wow He's one of those players that is just smooth and calm at all times. Great outside shot/range....he hits one and you better get all over him. He's far better underneath than you'd expect a 6'2 player to be....he'll get point...

Congrats on defeating teh Lady Blue Devils/Angels What impressed me though is that the entire varsity/JV coaching staff and all players 9th-12th were in attendance for nearly the entirety of the 7th and 8th grade ball games. That's great to see and a great showing of how much the current staff cares...

Sophomore Morgan Dobbins led the way with 10 points, Buescher with 9, Boggs 8, Merlin Miller 7, Brown 3, Stacy 2, Zach Haller with his first career point and the Newsome boys rounded out the scoring with about the final 7 points. Very unofficial as going from memory of radio stats. Cville had 2 guys...

Putting VC above Chilly would be tough for me as you can't help but remember last the districts and VC lost two of their best and Chilly lost 1 of their with 2 all-state like returnees.

For me Chilly would have to be 2 losses back to get jumped.

I don't know that there are 2 small D1 players on this team....but this team has the ability to be better than the South Webster teams of recent past. This team losing before the regionals would be a HUGE disappointment. Symmes Valley on the road makes it a must show up game....but Oak Hill is LOADE...

Hurles has to be about 6'9.

Definately worthy of some mention Lynchburg Clay defeated their Highland Co big brother Hillsboro on Saturday

If Whiteoak (only 40 miles from Cincinnati) is in an Athens sectional then the OHSAA has some serious fairness in competition problems.

You guys crash the boards hard, very good perimeter defense and are athletic with some size......hitting a few shots from deep and I imagine you guys could do well in the league and make a nice tourney run.
