I think this game will be closer than most expect. Rock Hill can potentially sneak into the playoffs with a win and some help along the way. Coal Grove can finish the regular season at .500 with a win. The game will probably go fast as neither side believes in the passing game on offense.

I think Fairland has too many weapons to defend. If Coal Grove can chew up the clock, they might be able to keep it close. But they can’t get into a track meet.

I think Gallia is athletic enough to hang around for a quarter or so. But, I believe if Ironton doesn’t shoot themselves in the foot with untimely penalties or turnovers, they put the game away quickly. They have a lot of weapons to try and defend. Both schools come in with identical records. Both lost their week one games that could have ended either way. How long has it been since VC has defeated N-Y ?

I think this will be a good game. Fairland made some halftime adjustments against Portsmouth and pretty much shut them down in the second half. South Point has been a pleasant surprise this season. If Portsmouth struggles on offense, I think the Pointers win by a couple of scores.

If I’m not mistaken, Portsmouth, Gallia, and Fairland are still on the schedule next year. Along with Wheelersburg and Jackson. I’m not sure who else is on it. I’m interested to see what other teams are on the schedule.

Probably going to be ugly quick. Coal Grove did put up 12 on Gallia and held them to 28. But I’m afraid Ironton is a bit too athletic for the Hornets to contain. I know there’s no love lost between the HC from either team.
