Re: Week 7 scores and updates

Re: RD2: Rock Hill (3-4) @ Fairland (5-1)

Fairland won the regular season match-up 42-6. Ironically, it was the last regular season game.

Re: RD2: Coal Grove (4-2) @ Shenandoah (4-2)

Might be an interesting game. Coal Grove comes in off a 57-6 victory over Grandview Heights. It’s a rematch of the 2017 first round playoff game in which Coal Grove won 7-6. Hopefully the 3 hour plus bus ride will be kind to the Hornets. Yea that’s a terrible drive. Shenandoah is not great by no me...

River Valley probably wouldn’t jump ship. Nor South Gallia. River Valley spent a few years in the OVC joining the TVC.

Re: Fort Frye Denied Admission into TVC

While I’m not from the TVC, I can kinda understand about the traveling issues for some schools. The OVC stretches from Portsmouth to Gallipolis. It’s around and 1:05 minutes from Coal Grove to Gallipolis, and 45 minutes to Portsmouth. That’s on the bus by the way. Portsmouth to Gallia is around 1:30...

Region 23 is covering a lot of ground. From Lawrence County on the Ohio River all the way North/Northeast to Amish Country.. Still only 4 3-0 teams Fort Frye Worthington Christian Centerburg Fairland I like my chances as a Cadet fan. Good luck to you guys! Coal Grove lost to Fairland 27-21. Got off...

That’s a huge difference! Does that include competitive balance numbers or is it strictly enrolment?

It appears that Harvest Prep is in Division V Region 19 this year. Must’ve had a big boost in numbers to move up from D VII 😳.

Re: Gov DeWine Green lights all Fall sports

On the subject of marching band at games, Coal Groves band is only doing home games this year from my understanding. I’m curious about how schools will handle the number of spectators per athletes, band members and cheerleaders. I just feel bad for the students, parents and the schools. The unfortun...
