Wheelersburg seemed to run it ok. So does most other schools. Ohio State does ok lol. This ideology is exactly why Ironton sucks now.

No reason to. I don't go around telling everyone how great I am.

Re: WK1 Wheelersburg @ Ironton (8/26)
You keep telling us how great they are every year. Surely they would beat someone.
Did you get that Coshocton score?

Re: WK1 Wheelersburg @ Ironton (8/26)
A Wheelersburg players' parent told me what was said on here that Wheelersburg is very skilled. But he said that the offensive line is bad. Read option is great, but you don't beat good teams by losing the line of scrimmage.

Let me ask a question. What is the last really good team that Wheelersburg has beaten?

Re: 2017 Portsmouth Trojans
I poster from Portsmouth verified a couple kids had transferred in. All I will say on that is they are getting warmer. There were a couple others that didn't. Laugh if you want, but these are 12/13 year old kids. I know there are a couple posters heavily involved in the Portsmouth basketball program...

Re: 2017 Portsmouth Trojans
What happened at the high school level, I do not know. The middle school is 100% fact. Ask anyone that went to the SSU middle school basketball league and knows the kids.
Duncan seems like a class act. Never accused them of anything.

Re: 2017 Portsmouth Trojans
Hear the Trojan's been out recruiting from all over even outta state Seems like it But I can tell you with 100% certainty it is happening at the middle school level. I won't mention names, but its easy to figure out. A certain guy coached the middle school basketball team at Shawnee State. He is al...

Re: Football Regional Alignments
Tier 1 is a plus one, tier 2 is plus two. In your scenario, 30 is your addition to your base number. So basically a kid that lives in district counts as 1 A kid that moves in before 7th and plays football counts as 2 A kid that moves in after 7th and plays football counts as 3. A kid that moves in ...

Re: Football Regional Alignments
Thanks KK So what is the multiplier for tier 1 and tier 2? Say a school has 200 boys in the school. 50 of them are football players. Of the 50 football players: 30 live in district, 10 live outside the district but have went to that school since elementary, 10 live outside the district and moved in ...

Re: Football Regional Alignments
Right now the player counts if they transfer after the 7th grade correct?
Really not sure how they come up with that number. If a player lives outside the district border they should count no matter when they moved. Just my opinion

Re: Football Regional Alignments
Looks as if it is football specific. Competitive balance is in the infant stages. It will probably be expanded. At first it was to include an economic factor for the area. Honestly that has as much or more to due with success as anything. Alot of kids have nothing. With all the AAU, camps, etc, kids...

Re: 2017 Valley Indians
Valley had 4 or 5 really good classes in a row. And that's when they had the 3 straight great seasons. Right now Valley looks to be down for a while. They look like they've got some decent basketball players at the high school level, but not the 3 sport stars they had for a few years. Looking a what...

Re: Will Portsmouth Notre Dame have football this year?
If your school doesn't have a sport you can play that sport at another school that has that sport. The specifics on which school you can attend (how close) I'm not sure.

Re: Will Portsmouth Notre Dame have football this year?
Was told a few days ago that several kids had quit then some had transferred and that they didn't have enough for a team. Then I heard they were gonna try to play, so who knows. Hadn't heard about the vote.

Re: 2017 Ironton Fighting Tigers
Ironton threads are like reading a soap opera. Half the fans are stuck in 50's football, other half wants 2017 football, but they all still think it's 1989.
