Re: Southeastern coach

Anyway, sounds like SE hired the right guy. I know several folks there, and they’re supportive of the Panthers no matter what.

Re: Southeastern coach

I forgot... who was 2-0 and who was 0-2 against the other last year? Not so much a Piketon guy as much as not a fan of blowhards.

Nice to see I’m still dominating your thoughts big bob!

A bit full of thyself, huh? Because, as I understand it, you weren’t the only problem dad. But, it’s nice to see you admit you are a problem.

Re: Evan Legg Steps Down From Piketon

Piketon isn't going to have that 20+ points player next year. However, they will have 2 or 3 starters returning, 4 bench players who played solid minutes this past year, plus some young guys who can provide help. With the right coach, I can see them coming close to this years win total. Finding a te...

Re: Evan Legg Steps Down From Piketon

I personally like the Idea of Kyle Miller leading the Streaks. He has been an assistant to 2 successful coaches, and he has been the head coach of a regional participant. He's young, I assume still enthusiastic, and would be able to get the most of the kids.

What are you complaining about, Burgfan? Wheelersburg pulls from ALL of Scioto County! Their enrollment is, what, nearly 10,000?

I wonder if Piketon will have any kind of special "Welcome Back!" for Coach Stewart.

Re: SVC POY

McCloskey gets my vote, and here is the reason why: Both rank in the top 10 of league statistical categories in 5 areas. Evans' teammates rank in the top 10 of league statistical categories 11 times, McCloskey's teammates 1. Now, I realize Evans shouldn't be penalized because he has better teammates...

Re: OHSSA letter to parents

Little, did you transfer your kid back to Piketon and they put him on JV? Varsity doesn’t have a #22 No, they're still at Unioto, thank goodness. As a former official, I'd agree that parents are about the same as they were 20+ years ago. The players, however, at least from my vantage point, are wor...

Re: The State of High School Sports

All of the things being discussed on here definitely pertain to the problems of HS sports. I think you can add the ESPNization of kids as well. It's all about the highlights, it's all about 'ME' instead of the team. Very few kids are going to be making a living playing sports, but they act like they...

Re: Pfloyd's Official "Un-official Napkin Stats for the Piketon Tip Off

great run down as always, I still need to watch a Portsmouth game by the end of the season. I wanna see their stud in action. I would've made the trip to the oven but went to ZT to watch Vc play. The question is...which stud? That Lattimore kid is deadly with his left hand. The Fralini kid, while h...

Re: 2018/19 Piketon Redstreaks

Yes, Little transferred to Unioto. His dad is their problem now.

The Red Streaks are a work in progress. Coaches Legg et al should have them ready come tournament time. District champion? That might be a bit of wishful thinking at this time.

Re: 2018/19 SVC (Predictions, POY Talk, Scheules & More)

The truth is that Isaac Little has transferred to Unioto. While this will hurt the Streaks, not having Daddy Little around doesn't. The fiction is that the Streaks care that they left. With all of the crap Daddy posted on social media during football season, it'll be interesting to see how long the ...

Will Piketon drop and Unioto rise with the apparent transfer of Isaac Little? Will he (and his father) find happiness and playing time in Ross County? Should make for interesting things up north.

Re: SCRIMMAGES

Piketon's Lady Red Streaks defeated Washington CH 4-3 last night. I thought the Streaks played much more aggressively than last year. They initiated a lot of the action on both ends of the field, which was a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to the upcoming season. GO LADY STREAKS!!!
