Re: Round 1 : #9 Portsmouth (7-3) @ #8 Zane Trace (8-2)
One of the weakest years ever in the SVC I think Portsmouth offense is dynamic enough to win it. ZT kept Piketon in check but I feel Portsmouth’s offense can have enough success to win

Re: Region 16 Round One Germantown Valleyview (5-5) at Waverly (8-1)
I see this matchup as one of the 5/12 matchups you see in March madness. Either the 5 comes out and proves their seed or the 12 keeps is close and makes it a great contest

Re: SOC Chip. Symmes Valley @ Northwest
If oak hill a team that went 1-9 and only win was against northwest isn’t enough proof that northwest doesn’t belong in the SOC II then idk what is

Re: Week 10 Waverly at Oak Hill
Wonder where this puts us going into week 11 with all the others games in the region finishing up The #2 and #3 teams, Eaton and McNicholas both lost tonight, but eyeballing #4 Waverly's potential points even with their win tonight look like they may drop to 5th behind Clinton-Massie. Good enough f...

Re: Week 10 Waverly at Oak Hill
Day of game Waverly 48 Oak Hill 6 Just depends how long the starters stay in….. Love to see a Futhey to Futhey hook up several times for the last regular season game for both. I am not opposed to that. Was originally thinking it’d be more, but they’ll want to get the clock running as quick as possi...

Re: Top Reasons for Transfers
I think a lot of it just depends on where you live and what other school districts are near by the factor into it. Within Scioto and Lawrence county there are a good bunch of schools to pick from

Re: Week 10 Waverly at Oak Hill
Begs the question would the SOC be willing to expand. It’s obvious most of the small towns within our league are not exponentially growing. Who would join/ who would we invite I think they would or they would suffer building a lopsided conference. With the changing times and decreasing population i...

Re: WEEK 10: Valley at Minford
Really don’t know what to think about this matchup Minford was there against burg and played their worst game just a week ago against Waverly. Valley has played everyone tough all year I think they win this rivalry

Re: West at BURG
I do like how they have a traveling trophy for this game. I'm not a big fan of the name of it though. The Halloween Bowl isn't super catchy to me. Anyone have any better name ideas just for fun? Its been 10 years since it has came to West Portsmouth. The Orange and black trophy? Scioto County Super...

Re: OVC Chip Portsmouth @ Ironton who you got
Seems like some haven’t heard the saying of the better team didn’t win but the team that didn’t give up did. Ironton did that against Jackson. And for the Fairland game they didn’t give up they still won. Blows my mind how people critique wins no matter how they happen i would rather win ugly than l...

Re: OVC Chip Portsmouth @ Ironton who you got
kicker: Jason Vorhees listed this series as 61-60-7 in favor of Ironton. Even though it is a very old series, two series that are older are Troy--Piqua and Massillon--Canton McKinley. I believe Troy--Piqua is the longest running series in Ohio. thank you did not know Troy Piqua was longest running ...

Re: OVC Chip Portsmouth @ Ironton who you got
The unstoppable force of Portsmouth’s offense vs the immovable object that is the Ironton defense. Game should be a dandy rooting for Portsmouth as a Waverly fan however I think Ironton takes it contains this high powered offense Ironton 31 Portsmouth 13 Also is this one of the longest running serie...
