Re: WK3 Point Pleasant (0-0) @ Gallia Academy (2-0 0-0) "BATTLE OF THE BRIDGE"
Also almost any team that has a month to scout and prepare for one team has a good shot.

Re: WK3 Point Pleasant (0-0) @ Gallia Academy (2-0 0-0) "BATTLE OF THE BRIDGE"
If Point does win it’ll be low scoring, one of the best GA defenses if not the best in the last 10 years.

Re: WK3 Point Pleasant (0-0) @ Gallia Academy (2-0 0-0) "BATTLE OF THE BRIDGE"
The week 3 matchup I have been looking forward to. I think Gallia opens the O up even more. I think the coaches were smart enough to not show all the offense against RV & Meigs. This game will show how good this D is. I could see Point with some trickery, Gallia not so much. The OC is a simple b...

Re: Gallia Academy 38 River Valley 0
I don’t think RV had 236. The Hudl recap said 180. Either way it doesn’t matter how much you rush if you can’t finish drives.RVRaiderFan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 10:08 am Also, I dont think I have ever seen a game where a team out rushes the other team and loses 38-0.
RV 236 rushing yards
GA 204 rushing yards

Re: Week 2: Gallia Academy (1-0) @ River Valley (0-1)
Maybe I overlooked it, but where is the excuse used by the RV fans that GA wins with their "county" kids? I would take the GAMS 8th grade team to beat RV's varsity team.   I am SO SO glad this is the final match-up in this series!! I agree. "1STUNNA" only has ...

Re: Week 2: Gallia Academy (1-0) @ River Valley (0-1)
This GA defense looks unreal. Yes it was meigs, but they had 11 hats to the ball every down. Reminds me of the old great defenses in GA history. Most energetic D since the 2000’s.

Re: WK 2: Nelsonville-York (0-1) @ Fort Frye (1-0)
Fort Frye will score however much they want to score. NY looks poor on offense and defense. By watching the Trimble game I think NY will be 4-6 or 3-7 unless they find a offense that suits them. Personally I think NY wasn’t physical at all, maybe it was intimidation from Trimble, or maybe they are ...

Re: Week 2: Gallia Academy (1-0) @ River Valley (0-1)
Playing a out of state school really penalizes you in no way. It could actually be seen as advantage depending on the team and there schedule. Basically point pheasants enrollment will be turned into OHSAA. They will be put into a class I think they will be considered a division 3 school. And if Ga...

Re: Week 1: Gallia Academy @ Meigs
What game plan will the devils come out with? The same as the scrimmages and run the whole time or open up the pass game? Should be an exciting one Meigs has some good athletes.

Re: Week 1: Gallia Academy @ Meigs
I’ve seen both teams scrimmage & the only thing I think differs from a lot here is that GA is way more athletic than Meigs. Yes Meigs has 2-3 athletic guys, Gallia has 6-7 atleast. The fastest GA team in years but they lack size and depth. Meigs also lacks both of the categories as a team. This...

Personally I did not think they looked good, worse than last year by a lot but it is only the preview. Line looked small & I only saw one of the QB’s but he looked pretty small himself

Re: 2019 River Valley Raiders
By no means am I downing the Raiders from the scrimmage but how much do you get from this? You played a D7 team that last year went 4-6 & it was tight. If RV wants to have a better season then the past 2 years they will have to improve a lot from this.
