2020 Amanda-Clearcreek 17 - 12 Logan

First meeting between these two teams. Logan coming off a rough 48-14 loss to Jackson where statistically they held their own on paper. However, big plays were the difference. Thoughts on this game?

Re: Gov DeWine Green lights all Fall sports

Dewine said by the end of the week he will have guidance for performing arts, which include bands. You could see numbers who can perform drop due to social distancing. JV band? Varsity band. 100 plus. Logan has a junior high band, but they don't play at games etc. Don't know about Jackson, but they...

Re: 2020 Ohio State Fair Cancelled

Another joke! 537 people have died in Ohio outside of nursing homes since March 15 because of this virus. Probably half of those 537 are really not from covid, they were just written down as that for federal money. 273 died on average every day in Ohio in 2019. Hospitals have taken a massive financ...

What will antibody tests do? If you set the requirement that kids have to have the antibodies, you won’t be fielding football teams.

It certainly sucks for the winter athletes that were still in it, particularly seniors, that “one more shot at it” was taken from them. I’m also afraid that our spring sports will suffer the same fate. I am friends with the family of a senior who was looking to make his mark with a state championshi...

Re: Logan Football - From the Vault (Stay-at-home entertainment)

Since we're all stuck at home with no live sports, I've been uploading one Logan HS football game per season each day to my YouTube page. I have (practically) all of Logan's games from 1985-1999 digitized plus a handful of games from 2000-now. Here is a link to the playlist: https://www.youtube.com...

Re: CoVid-19...How are you, family, area doing?

Fairfield County our neighbor has 5 cases now and 2 deaths. Still not showing Hocking with any. Lawrence has 1. Fairfield County has not had 2 deaths. Per the Ohio Department of Health website, they have had 6 confirmed cases, 2 hospitalizations, and 0 deaths. This is where I got it from. Must have...

Noreply I can't find where Hocking has any yet. Fairfield has 2 and Gallia had someone die from it. :o The person I talked to said someone was tested and it would take up to five days for the results to come back??????? Re: OHSAA Tourney and COVID-19

Just listened to Washington states governor and he had a very good point. Since children are at such a low risk anyways, how are school closures really going to be effective when many health care workers will have to leave their jobs due to no child care? I don’t think all the information is being ...

Re: OHSAA Tourney and COVID-19

I work in the healthcare industry. One answer to the questions of “why cancel school” or “why are they limiting attendance at sporting events” is to slow the speed at which the virus transmits throughout the population. The younger population has been proven to be resilient when infected with the vi...

So exactly how will they police this issue? Check id, we live in a society of mixed families. The flu kills more people a year than this I just think this is silly hysteria. If your sick stay home. There is a lot of unnecessary hysteria (ex. People buying up hand sanitizer and toilet paper) going o...
