Re: 3/27 openers/scores
Burg score?
Re: 2021 SOC2
Wheelersburg is the clear cut favorite. The real competition will be to see who finishes second. Have West and Valley turned the corner to winning seasons. Will Waverly actually reload instead of rebuild? Can Minford achieve their potential? That and we know Oak Hill will always battle. Here is to ...

Re: Burg 2021
Excited to see Burgs backfield. They return probably the best back in the area and another junior will be filling in as well as he came back fro one year being at valley. Burgs offensive success will hinge on them having a line. They have three coming back that saw some time. One started. Defensive...

Re: Valley @ Wheelersburg 12/8/20
I think Burg looked solid on offense for the first game of the season but would have liked to see a little better defensive performance. At times they cranked up the pressure but I will look to see an improvement in this area as the season goes on. Offensively I think they played fairly well, especi...

Re: Burg 2021
We're on the recruiting trail right now. Those positions will be filled before you know it :D Lol I love the intensity between Ironton and Wheelersburg on these threads. I can tell it’s a pretty good rivalry Just trying to lighten the mood a little bit haha seems like a lot of tight panties been ro...

Re: 2021 Outlook: What does your team have coming back?
Unfortunately I think Burg may have a hard time next year. They bring back some pretty good athletes, but I think they will lack the physicality needed to compete at the level we have been accustomed too. They will be solid defensively, but I think very comparable to this year. Offensively they wil...

Re: D5 R19 Finals - Ridgewood (9-0) @ Ironton (9-0)
Ironton will have to play mistake free, I think the Tigers win, by how many is anybodies guess. By 1 point is all it takes. Off topic on this game, I am reading excuses from Burg fans over their loss to Ridgewood. SSDY. Let's be honest, those excuses are coming from the usual suspects. Don't wrap a...

Re: RD 3: Ready at Burg
Great game Pirates. Ready had probably one of the biggest offensive lines I've ever seen for a D V high school team. I bet they averaged around 6'6" and 290 and the defensive line wasn't far off. Burg was able to make some big time plays late and pulled this one out. I'm not so sure they didn'...

Re: RD 3: Johnstown Monroe (6-2) @ Ironton (7-0)
Noone finds it odd that he plays there 2 years and goes through almost the entire offseason and just before his replacement shows up, he's "Voted" off the team? Purely Coincidental I'm sure. Not that is matters at this point but the kid who transferred was not going to start at QB this ye...

Re: RD 3: Johnstown Monroe (6-2) @ Ironton (7-0)
Transfers have been, are now, and always will be a part of the game. Kids move every year. Parents want their kids playing for solid programs. It is what is is. I'm a Burg fan, and will be the first one to say that we benefit from kids moving in, no doubt. Everyone just need to get over it and just ...

Re: RD 3: Ready at Burg
Lattimore needs to see the ball about 20-25 times a game. He is a threat to take it to the house every time he touches or he can get 4-5 yards a carry and eat up clock and for the life of me I don't understand why he is not in the backfield when they get inside the 10. He's averaging around 8yards ...

Re: RD 3: Ready at Burg
Ready is much better this year than the last time they came to Wheelersburg in the first round of Burgs championship year. Burg came out with a 34-0 victory in that one. Ready has a lot of speed and some horses up front. This will be a test for the Pirates but winnable as long as they play to their ...

Re: October 2, 2020 Portsmouth West - Wheelersburg
no the only people not dressed were due to injuries. not covid Were there any starters out? I didn't notice if there were, plus with a bunch of young guys subbing in and out all night it was hard to tell. Matthew Miller is under quarantine until sometime this week due to a family member testing pos...
