Morgan vs Crooksville
Philo vs New Lex

With the depth of the SE and only 1 team getting out I dont think any team is gonna feel like they have an easy sectional final game this year. Top 8 will all be more then capable of a Tourny run.

With only 1 team from SE going to regionals most teams will have to win 2 games to get to the convo, 15-18 seeds would have to win 3.

I believe Westfall dropped back to DIII this year.

JG bounced back from their first loss Friday to hand New Philly their first loss on Saturday. Pretty much dominated New Philly from start to finish.

Only 1 DII team from SE advances to Regional.

Probably still trying to work out the details of how its going to work with combining sectionals, but you'd think they would want to get it done soon now that the season is started.

Who is the new Amanda Coach?

Pat Blevins is now the head coach at LU. He was not an assistant last year but did coach JV a couple years ago.

I don't see why a SE DII team couldn't get hot and win 2 regional games. Will for sure be more difficult with only 1 team having the chance but I don't see a dominant DII team in the Central or East that a SE team couldn't defeat on a given night. Columbus South moving up to DI certainly helps.

It can't be any worse for baseball than it is already, Sheridan hosted Washington Courtnhouse and Mcclain last year in sectionals.

18 Teams in DII this year I believe, with only 1 team getting out, you'd have to win at least 4 to get to Regionals

You should have stuck around for Oak HIll's final game, Coach Norm was not in the chatting mood! But you are right, the big kid for Oak Hill did play hard and played at a high level.

How in the world is Minford not ranked in D3? Popularity contest or what gives? I had to look at the coaches poll at least 5 times because I thought I was overlooking them lol Coaches are supposed to submit their team's information to voters via email if they feel their team is worthy of being rank...

Besides having the last at bat, (which can really change strategies in a close game) the ability to be on your own field, take batting practice instead of taking a bus trip, sometimes a long bus trip, can also be advantageous.
