That to me is the most surprising thing to see about Ironton's football teams..the penalties and how out of shape they seem. A down year or a couple of years in the talent level can be expected sometimes, but the mental mistakes and being out of shape are surprising.

As with Johnstown, if Madison is to beat us they'll have to beat our run defense and I like our chances!

I have an 8th grader and I believe there is only one boy that plays sports that is "older" than the 20 others. I understand that Sandy Dawn is a troll but perhaps he doesn't know that the OHSAA has rules in place for that sort of thing.

The young men that will be freshmen next year will certainly be big enough to play varsity next year! Saw them play Burg this year and those are big boys...just about all of them.
