I can see Waverly hanging in the game a little better than most have anticipated. I think it’s a closer game. The Remmington kid is a game changer. He missed all last season with injury. Waverly is a deep team and physically strong. We will see I guess.

I look for Waverly and Piketon to sneak up the rankings as the season goes on. Piketon getting Tanner Purdue is huge he is a top ten talent in our area. And as Waverly’s health improves so will their team and depth.

Any idea what the game time and match ups are?

I have had the privledge of watching Tanner play the last 3 years at Western. Wait till he gets his first breakaway still and throws down a monster dunk! The ovens doors are going to blow off.

Hopefully the Tigers can sneak up on a few teams. The addition to the coaching staff of Kyle Miller is a plus he works well with kids and He has a very similar approach to the game as Travis. I know he’s an assistant but having another basketball mind to add to the great coaching staff can only help...
