He ended up 13 yards short he got down to 5 yards away and then lost about 8 on his last run. He will try again next week.

The Bobcats can lock themselves in and be in the hunt to host a game if they win tonight! I was told a playoff game has never been hosted in Franklin Furnace so that would be HUGE!

Green has a football team this year and in case you haven’t heard the Bobcats are 5-0! Really great game from both teams!

Green ran the ball the whole time. Coach newsome begged for a running clock and shortened quarters. The lady coaching Hannan said no we are playing the full game. He did everything he could to not run the score up.

I look for the Running Backs to have over 100 yards again. Green would put up their second running clock of the year if WV had running clocks.

Green is pretty strong up front and they do have speed. This is a totally different team than last year.

I went to the scrimmage the other day. There is some size upfront and some speed in the backfield. There are a couple things that need worked on but that's the whole point of a scrimmage. I'm ready for some Football!

Mark my words... Winning season for the Bobcats I have talked with many kids and they are hungry. I think they will surprise a lot of people this year! You just make sure you pack the stadium!

Very excited for Football! I think Basketball and Baseball have set the stage for a great Bounce back year. I cant remember the last time there was this much excitement for Football in the Furnace!
