Re: 11/4 Matches

Region 15 got blown open when FCA lost in district semi-finals.

The regional final game on 11/7 is going to be an environment for sure. All four schools at the regional competition for region 15 have proud, well-traveling fanbases.

Re: Off-Season Coaching Changes

Anyone heard anything about NY job.? Imo..if I were in charge I would go out of the area and Find someone that will put the kids first and bring a new breath to the style that were used to. . Its possible that you may not get very many people from "out of the area" (subjective, I suppose)...

I'm surprised this thread hasn't turned into whose orange helmets are nicer!

For your historians out there, how many times has the Ironton-Burg game been played in the postseason?

Re: Playoffs #6 Shadyside @ #3 Trimble

SlimShady fans should arrive early if they want a seat. Seatin is only on one side. And prepare to walk. The parking lot is across a crick . Bring your boots. Pretty sure trimble brings in bleachers for playoff games. Also the entire left side of the stadium seats are for visitors. That parking lot...

Re: Playoffs #5 Newark Catholic @ #4 Paint Valley

FC had a very late coaching change (we're talking late July) that affected their ability to play four Q's with PV. They didn't gel until week 3, in which they played solid defense and methodical offense. They were a much better team up until week 8 when they had too many key injuries. At their peak,...

Re: SEOP's Survivor Pickem Week 10 (4 Remain)

It was a great contest. I knew Miller in week one was a good gamble! Nevertheless, congrats to C2k9 and Dundas for making it to week 10. And a congrats to those that didn't get their pick'em spoiled by Chesapeake/RH.

Re: Playoffs #5 Belpre @ #4 Harvest Prep

I believe they had a RB lining up at QB. I'm not sure to what end the current QB contributes on defense, but I think it was a matter of Bexley and FH being too overwhelming and Alex playing better, more fundamental ball with HP making mistakes.

Re: Playoffs #5 Belpre @ #4 Harvest Prep

Bexley and Alex are both tough, we're talking a playoff d3 and d5. Franklin Heights wasn't no joke, either.

In terms of their best win... probably Fisher.

Re: Playoffs #5 Belpre @ #4 Harvest Prep

Prep is very, very tough at home. Their QB became eligible in week 6 and they're very fast on defense.

Re: OSU's JQB JT Barrett arrested last night.

I'll be very disappointed if Urban doesn't kick JT off the team. To not do so would be an endorsement of behavior that can kill people and ruin others.

Re: WK 10: River Valley (7-2) @ Shadyside (3-6)

Rio Grande is part of Gallipolis City School District. HT, KC, NG and SW opened in the late 50's. Soon after the old Rio Grande HS closed I believe they went to SW a few years. At some point (early to mid 60's Rio became a part of the city schools and still are today). Interesting, thank you! I wou...

Re: WK 10: River Valley (7-2) @ Shadyside (3-6)

What schools consolidated to form River Valley? I'm still picking Shadyside to pull this one out. Gonna be a muddy mess. Rained all day/night Tuesday and more expected. River Valley was formed from North Gallia, Kyger Creek, Southwestern, and Hannan Trace in the fall of 1992. In fall of 1996, South...
