Point Pleasant lost two starters - Eric Chapman and Peyton Murphy - but returns Senior Josh Chapman, Junior Asher Robinson, and Junior Grant Barton who all started last year.

Point won their first game 54-33 over Lincoln County and will travel to River Valley tomorrow night.

After the game, a pretty spectacular presentation happened as both communities joined together to help out the Smith family who lost two children, Tiffany Grant, who was 26, and Braxton Smith, who was 11, in a tragic house fire last weekend. Tre Smith - a 14 year old - is still fighting for his life...

They barely beat Lincoln the other night. Lincoln is really bad. A lot of ppl from that area don't think they are very good this year according to boards (Tolsia, that is).

Good to see a lot of the other players step up. A big scoring weapon graduated with all time scoring leader Dillon McCarty graduating so finding the offense to replace him is key.

Good to see kids like Nick Templeton hit double figures in his first game. He's a senior who hasn't played.

I made a mistake on the earlier schedule. We do not play at Hurricane this Saturday. That is one of the cancelled games. Add this game to your schedule.
